  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I would be more than pleased. Not only are you seeing one of the best bands in the world, but your seeing two other great bands with them! Haha! I would love to be you right now. Hopefully they play Octavarium, but I doubt they will without the orchestra.

Dream Theater is an extremely talented band. I was able to see them when they came through on the Gigantour a couple years back. I also got to see Nevermore and Symphony X. Those three bands were the highlight of the show. The rest, if I recall, were horrible. I was worn out by the time Megadeth got on stage, so I left before their set was over.

I Did get an Octavarium t-shirt though :)

But, even after seeing Mike Portnoy live, my vote between him and Neil Peart would still go to Neil :) I'm partial to The Professor, what can I say.

The band is just phenomenal. John Petrucci is my favorite, of course. I also love the guy on keyboard, but I fail to remember his name.

Jordan Rudess (that's if you're talking about the present keyboard player, otherwise it would be either Derek Sherinian or Kevin Moore ;)).
