Hey Winter, I don't know if I'll be getting it, I'll have to call my cable company and see how much it cost. I'm a poor lowly student, and when school starts I'm not sure how much TV time I'll have.

You're gonna love her. She tells it how it is, but she has a GREAT sense of humor. That's what I like most about her.

The RCIA process is long, but it's well worth it. The Easter Vigil is indescribable! I went through the last RCIA course and was baptized only this Easter Vigil and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life even though I swear I almost got knocked unconscious.

But that's a different story for another time.

I finally met the priest at the local parish here where I live at Immaculate Conception of Mary. I explained to him that I tried to get in touch and he said that he's sorry he never got around to me and I said "No...I understand you guys stay busy." He said "No not at all! I just don't know how to use email." hahahahaha

All this time he never got to me because he can't use a computer!
Anyway the reason I met him is because they had a Come See at Immaculate Conception so I went and seen. They had a question area and I asked a bunch of questions. I must have talked a little too much. They loved my son and they were all very excited.

The weird thing is I've never met the priest before and about a week ago I had a dream about him................and he looked exactly the same when I met him! Weird

Anyway it was a great night. They will be very happy to baptize my son when I come into the church. Woo hoo.
I'm starting RCIA September the 14th they believe that's the date. I gave the coordinator both of my phone numbers and......she said she will give me a call when RCIA is about to start up so I can remember. They do the classes on Mondays from 7-9 p.m.

I'm so excited! I'll be joining all of you Easter 2010!

awesome!!!! soo happy for you!! I'm glad you finally got to talk to the priest and that everything is going well!! can't wait for Easter!!!!

as for Mother Angelica... I love her! but some people do not. Don't worry too much about that. Don't worry if people disagree. The Church is big and some people are more "conservative" and others are more "liberal" theologically. Just stick to the official Church teachings and everything will be fine. I don't think Mother Angelica has said anything against Church teachings either.

Thanks for the bump Rhamiel. I just noticed some of the replies. I'll be happy to start RCIA. Sometimes I will have to go by bus other times I'll have to walk and other times my hubby can drive me. It all depends on his work schedule because RCIA always falls on Monday out here.
