If you mean in the regeneration, that is after the resurrection and rapture, scripture sort of suggests that the differences of sex may not be there. It says in the resurection there is neither marriage or giving in marriage for you shall be as the angels in heaven. All Angles seem to be either men, or are androgenous. No Mrs. Angels to be found. (But Gen 6 indicates they are male and functional) So it would appear that the glorified body though flesh in a sense, and able to eat, Like the risen Lord, yet is able to appear in a locked room, that is not restricted by the physical elements, and possiby is not sexually distinct.

Did being saved restore all the consequences of all the wrong decisions and action from when I was living in the full blood of my sin?? No. It cleansed me of the *guilt* and *eternal penalty* of those choices and created a new life and purpose for making the right choice more often!!! B"H

I was confused on the last part of henayneis post..



From this comes the Jewish concept of "b'shert" - the chosen one. It is believed that for every man G-d creates, He also creates the woman to complete and re-create Man.



I believe that it is this completed Man - the uniting of the two separated parts - that we will be in the Olam HaBa. Again, one complete and whole being before the Throne of HaShem. That is why "there is neither marrying nor giving in marriage."


Bshert is an interesting concept. Most Jewish marriages are arranged??

They once were, in many orthodox communities they still are. Still most of Judaism the concept and the hope of "finding" your b'shert remains.

I was stirred by your thoughts. I had alreaedy offered that we would be androgenes, or without sexual distinction, but I was not aware of this spiritual paring, the missing part that would make two truly one. It made me think; because many of us get married for the wrong reasons, or we do not involve God in the decision at all. We choose our mates because they are good looking, smart, sexy, or they make us us feel complete somehow. But as we all know humans are a constantly evolving (throughout your own lifetime) person. That is to say that we change year by year. Often couples who stay maried become more like each other and may even cross over in personality and become more like their mates than themselves. Choosing a life mate should involve Gods guidance, a lot of prayer and fasting.

I wonder how many who didn't know the Lord when they got married, ended up with he wrong person? And if that is so, I wonder what happens in the resurrection. Are we correctly paired then, with the one that he intended, or are we eternally mismatched because of our choice here on earth.

As scripture points out - a woman (or man) whose spouse dies is free to marry another. Thus, death breaks the bond/earthly covenant.

As I see it we will be reunited with that which is *truly* our "other half."

Boy, there are a lot of variables in this. We are a new creature. We are not flesh only. I offer this as the picture to assist, but do not mean it to be an accurate description.

Humans have three natures, Flesh, soul, spirit.
When you are born you are pretty much flesh only, (though the other parts are there like seeds) you need only food ,warmth, comfort. Very soon the soul begins to develop.

The soul is your mind, thoughts, reasoning, emotions, feelings. This is as far as the unregenerated go. They learn to control their flesh nature which simply demands satisfaction for all its needs, by their soul. He tempers his drives by intellect, reason, morals, emotions feeling. his means that this person is easily destablized by how he feels, whether he is sick or well, happy or sad, all things, almost everything that he believes and how he acts is controlled by feelings and emotions. This is where most TV evangelists try to operate. It is the same place that Satan has his best hold on you, and this is why God does not want us to live by our soulish natures. He wants us to operate through faith by way of the spirit.

But inside this soul is a little nodule that is the spirit. The spirit is dormant, comatose, except for it has a small amount of resedent spark called conscience, the sort of built in idea that there is a difference between right and wrong. And it is sort of like the TV. It is turned off, except for one circuit that is listening for a command from the remote, telling it that someone wants the TV turned on, and then it powers up all its circuits.

Our conscience is listening for a command code from God to awaken all its circuits, which is the full life of the spirit. And in this circuit is a blank memory allocated for Gods Torah, His word. When we, by an act of our will, accept God, (often because our conscience has been insulted by our actions and we feel a need to seek forgiveness) God then sends in the code signal, your spirit comes alive and you get a down load from the Spirit, who takes up residence in you. Your spiritual eyes are opened, scriptures now begins to make sence, because what you are reading agrees with the copy printed on your heart, you become a new person who is able to love even the unlovable, and who is able to operate outside os the soulish demands of the feelings emotions and demands of the flesh.

Now it is not your feelings and emotions that control you, or even your thougfhts and undestanding. Now it is the spirit of God working through your newly activated spirit, that assures you that what God says is true, that despite what he evidence says, you have what you prayed for. (Faith is the evidence of things not seen...) So now the regenerated person has a completely new command line. Spirit controls soul, soul controls body.

We married very young. We have been together 35 years. It has been rough at times. I has been good at other times.

But there has always been this sort of wondering, if maybe we are a forced fit, squeezing ourselves into or relationship, lots of compromise. Was there perhaps another that was the perect it? Perhaps in Heaven all the Quark pairs, will be aligned. In quantum physics there is a strange thing, where two paricles that are paired can be separated any disctance and if you turn one, by changing its polarity, the other will also change as if eternally bonded together beyond time or space. I suspect it to be part of the command God gave in the beginning, "Let there be" and it has remained since that time. All things have thier being in the command of his voice. When God says, enough, it is finished, all of the physical universe will simply desolve back into the void of emptyness from which he called if out of.
