Paul, the self-proclaimed "prophet" who did not have additional testimony from first-hand witnesses to his alleged commissioning.
No; I simply recognize and reject the tares, which was prophesied to grow amidst the wheat.
You're right, I do not place my trust, faith or eternal salvation in Peter, Mark, Paul, or Luke. There is no guarantee of infallibility on any of those men. Remember Judas, who was an apostle. Remember Peter, who denied Messiah thrice. Remember how Messiah told Peter, "get thee behind Me, Satan"! Remember the prophecy Messiah gave about how Peter would be led away by another where he should not go.
My trust is in YHWH and His One Shepherd whom He sent, Yehoshua Messiah. His sheep hear His voice, and His sheep follow Him. We do not follow other shepherds or hirelings who speak with a voice and words different from His. "The servant is not greater than his Master; neither is the apostolos greater than He that sent him."
A fallacious appeal to the majority. Just because there is a majority of persons who believe in a doctrine does not make it true.
Messiah confirms that. He says that broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many goes in that direction. Narrow is His Way which leads to life, and only a few find it.
Where does Paul say he is a prophet?
Then you have an insurmountable problem, because Jesus wrote nothing.
It is the men who wrote the gospels, and the men Peter and James, who are the only sources for Jesus words on earth.
Are you infallible, because if they aren't infallible, then you have no way of knowing what Jesus really said.
You have only your infallible self to rely on.
And then what is Ananias, chopped liver?
The risen Christ told Ananias that Paul was his chosen instrument.
It's not "where he should not go," it's "where he does not want to go."
And the very text itself explains what Jesus meant, that he was indicating the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God.
Your infallible self traffics in an awful lot of fallible information.
Yes it is! There are many here who desire to weaken the Law in favor of man's traditions - just like the Pharisees!“WOW” is this the Pharisee page?
How many accounts from first-hand witnesses to these events do we have? And then what is Ananias, chopped liver? The risen Christ told Ananias that Paul was his chosen instrument. ... Then Ananias was a false prophet. All the apostles were false prophets because they approved Paul's message.

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
- Be baptized in The Holy Spirit!
- Lay hands on the sick and they will recover!
- Cast out devils!
- Worship God in spirit and truth!
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
- Go preach the Gospel to your neighbor and get the saved and baptized!
Also if you want to please God, then stop blaspheming The Holy Spirit by which Paul worked miracles and cast out devils as well as wrote most of the new testament!
That would be a good start!

Wow! Matthew 7:22-23
22. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
23. "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, You who practice TORAHLESSNESS!
That is all.

Jesus said, the law and the prophets were until john, until..luke 16:16..
These are direct commands of The Lord Jesus. To disregard them in favor of establishing your own righteousness, IS DOING WHAT IS RIGHT IN YOUR OWN EYES! LAWLESSNESS!
If you chose to try and keep the Law of Moses, rather than what Jesus said believers would be doing, then you are a sign unto yourself.
The Law of God, that Abraham walked in, is a different story.
For Abraham walked before God in relationship as he was commanded.
Abraham walked in faith!
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
A righteousness by faith!

Did Moses write the Torah because he had the Law or because he had relationship?
JLB
lol.
THis might be the worst argument EVER for 'trying to do away with the Law'.
3 quick reasons why.
1. If the Law and the Prophets were truly done with at the time that John's head was on the plate, we would have to kiss ALL the coming prophesies goodbye. (especially considering that not even Messiah's prophesied death had happened at that point yet.)
2. Any 7 yr. old reading child who continues reading even the book of Luke would see that even Messiah continued to preach, teach and do the Law of God.
3. The very next verse, 17 tells us that HEAVEN AND EARTH will pass away before the any part of the Law of God passes away. How ironic!!!!
1. Moses wrote the Words of God down, because God told Him to.
2. Moses wrote the Words of God down, because Israel needed a litmus test to verify TRUTH.
3. Moses wrote the Words of God down, so that Israel could have God's instructions for Godly living!
4. Moses wrote the Words of God down, because He had a wonderful relationship with Hashem.
The list goes on.
Some Gentiles I know of in my twon, try to act like jews, when the Holy Spirit used the father of the jews, to get rid of all the law, circumcision, judaism, ethnocentrcity, racism, nationalsim, yet our friends in the MJ churches, can't, and won't, argue Abrahamic usage from Paul, because Abraham sinks the theology.
So I see a bunch of gentiles running around town saying yeshua, and wearing talits, and trying to live torah, when they can't live torah.
Abe got the gosepl, and was justified pre circumcision gen12;3, and 15;6, but they hate that fact, so they ignore the father of the jews, as these gentiles try to become jewish.
