  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Towards the end of 2008 prior to the vision I had in 2009, I had a dream: It was my birthday celebration that night, and someone whose anonymity gave me a bunch of beautiful orange-red roses with a card attached, placed along with all the birthday gifts happened to be loaves of bread, veggies and fruits, and all kinds organic stuff.

Then, I remember myself standing by the gate in the shinning daylight while on my way on a work trip for few days. When I got into the car, I remember placing all these gifts and bunch of roses at the back seat to give them to a friend, as I won't have them all, while I'm away. Then, I remember the card, unwittingly, I have not opened since the night before...wandering from who could it be? As I opened and was about to read, it was a handwritten note or paragraph in Greek manuscript, surprisingly, not in Hebrew...except on the bottom, written - "Almighty."

I have not studied the "Biblical Ancient Manuscript" before until I recently did a research awhile ago. "Codex Sinaiticus" was indeed written in Greek. What was the message? Could it be Revelation 1:8 in response to the anonymity indicated in my dream? But this is just my own assumption...

In color studies, orange has been used to show and bring out intelligence. The gifts were all wholesome and beneficial, with nothing dangerous or frivolous (assuming roses aren't frivolous).

You received the gifts and completely owned rights to them, but immediately planned to share them with others. You took initiative to save and maybe even deliver them, not just passively wait until someone asked.

There was also a sense of perishability. When listening to a sermon and getting a great insight, we often remember enough to apply that week, but then store it away in memory and don't recall until a trigger brings them up. So if we get an insight that applies well to a friend's situation, we are often eager to tell them before we forget.

You might have had a little regret that someone gave you something and you weren't able to use it all...feel free to disagree. And you waited to open the card, which in etiquette standards would appear unappreciative of the donor and their generosity.

You were standing in shining daylight, preoccupied by your work trip, and putting that before the gift. Not in a bad way -- just doing two things at once, and maybe not seeing the importance of getting the gift.

God works with believers very interactively, and in your dream you immediately plan to bless someone else with what you received. When we have a gift of healing, we use it for someone else.

The gifts are meant to be shared.

We are honored by God to be selected to carry the gifts, which are wholesome and beneficial-- but since we cannot possibly use everything at once, we need to share what we have been given. If we bury our talents, hide our light under a bushel, claim the gifts for our own glory, or hoard them for later use -- then they dissolve like manna.

I was never aware this line of thought plays a very significant role in my dream, but when you said it, it really struck me... You don't know me, but the Lord gave you the knowledge and wisdom relating to the central part of my personal life, I find it quite fascinating and very, very true...

Apart from all of the gifts and talents that God gave, I know that He always wanted to bless me...but at some point when I've gone through some very tough and painful time, the law stood by me for what I was entitled to. For some reason, like as always been, I was too generous to give almost everything I own, just to find and keep the peace... Money and possession was never my priority, as I was more pre-occupied upon pursuing my career at that time. I reflect on it...but I can always forgive myself.

Nice how that coincided.
Now more is coming to mind about cards and gifts -- cards are communications, where gifts are objects people give (sometimes out of obligation, for either). You made sure the gifts were used and put in the right spot, and waited to read the communication.

I will not criticize, bc I read instructions long after I open packages. But this might highlight how God's messages -- in the Word, through prayer and other forms of communication -- might be set aside when you are busy making sure people get ministered to. We all do it to some extent, so I don't want to embarrass you by claiming that's the situation.

From what I can remember, flowers and card was given to me anonymously -- but we were in the "dark room"... I supposed it's in a club celebrating my birthday that night. It wasn't black and white while I was able to describe the colour of the roses...not red, kind of "orangey red" but not orange.

Then came prominently, standing in the "shinning daylight" full of vitality, ready to go on a journey, seeing all those gifts...all very colourful. Then I opened the card, but somehow, I couldn't read the writing... And for some reason I can not explain, I know a few who are dyslexic, but it automatically came to my head it's from "Harry Murrell"...lol!

Made me think that God may have a great sense of humour...but surely, the dream must be symbolic...perhaps, for the misfits and for the unfortunates. He didn't reveal himself until I woke up!
