Christ said "faith moves mountains" and the bible says that faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God, that is to say, having much faith implies that the word of God abounds abundantly in our hearts.. Christ says "blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it in their hearts" the prophet Isaiah said "haughty eyes will be humbled" Christ says "where your heart is, there is your treasure" in this world everyone will want to steal your most precious treasures, for that reason it is convenient to make the greatest treasure of one the bible.. Christ said "do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth corrupts and thieves steals, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth corrupts nor thief steals" blessed day and may God continue to bless us all

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I agree, but I'm just wondering why you put God and divinity in the title. Surely divinity is the state of being God. (I'm not criticising, just wondering.)

Well, yes God's word is a treasure.
Jesus is our treasure. And loving one another as His family is treasure precious to God Himself.
And "the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (in Romans 5:5)
So, God's own love is Heaven's own treasure in our hearts.
Our Apostle Paul says we need "faith working through love" (in Galatians 5:6).
So, faith is not only believing. And faith has us living and loving in Heaven's own love. This is God's love all-loving and gentle and humble and tenderly caring and sharing. We have this by means of faith which is in Jesus and which He in us shares with us.
And God treasures how our character becomes in His love >
"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)
So, God wants us to have what is treasure for Him, in our hearts.
