Men should be allowed to stay at home and take care of the children, considering the wife is the primary breadwinner and his heart's calling is to be the stay-at-home parent.


Men should be allowed to wear whatever colors they so desire; pink, purple, red, black...whenever they want to without being ostracized or poked fun at by those who prefer other colors.


Men should be allowed to embrace their feelings and sensitivities, without wallowing in them. Goodness, ya'll...can you imagine? Pfft.






Men should be allowed to be the "weakies" once in awhile; admitting their faults, imperfections, phobias, idiosyncracies...make us chicks not feel as though we're not so completely anal about everything. I mean...it may be true, but still!



Men should be allowed to respect women as much as (or more than) they respect themselves. I say this because some men just don't respect themselves, so....it's kind of a wash if they respect women as much as they respect themselves.

This is my first post. Nothing caught my eye until the pink shirt post....men should absolutely be able to wear PINK without being judged by other men. I dont think women are as harsh on the pink thing..Am I right ladies?

Absolutely....it shouldn't be assumed that men will always pay for outings or dinner. Women have jobs, too...sometimes, higher-paying jobs (though that is certainly not the norm for most. Thank you, stubborn glass ceiling).

Perfect! I would extend that to the theatre, as well. I don't know a single guy who would admit to frequenting the theatre, symphonies or the opera houses without fear of getting their bums kicked.

Yeah! And secretaries, hairdressers, etc. (The only male hairdressers I've met were all gay, but there must be straight male hairdressers around somewhere!)

stefsoswt, I agree, I think women accept men wearing pink. It does look great on some men. Italian men (I mean in Italy) wear a lot of pink by the way and it looks fab, so it doesn't make you less macho.

My husband likes opera and isn't ashamed of it - but he loves sports too, especially football (soccer for north-Americans).
