I thought that had to do with prostaglandins in sperm causing allergic reactions in some women.

My mistake - prostaglandins, not pheromones. It's not allergic, though; as far as I know, uterine contractions are not a result of anaphylaxis.

Interestingly, prostaglandins are sometimes used to induce childbirth, so I guess it's that but on on a smaller scale.

Prostaglandins are what cause the cervix to dilate. Which is why sex helps induce labor. Wifey and I got it on more during the last few weeks of her pregnancy than we did the previous 8 months combined.

If you require [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] to feel sexually satisfied, and if you are having to fake it, it's likely that you'll never achieve sexual fulfilment with that partner. Faking it prevents you from working with your partner to take steps to fix that problem.
