For some reason this seems to give many women a complex. Is it immoral?

The complex, or the failure to [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]?

Either or both. I'm referring to a friend who is polyamourous but decided to take a 30 day break from [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]. It really made the women in his life upset. He would have sex but not 'blow his load'.

I actually think this is one of AutumnLeaf's better threads... make of that what you will! In general, I do think we should be encouraging threads that steer clear of the tedious topics that plague E&M on a daily basis.

Anyway Autumn, why is your friend on a 30 day break? That must take some strong restraint, particularly as he is still having full sex with her.

This might sound hard to believe, but I wasn't always the great lover that I am today. Back in the day, I used to last about 30 seconds, but these days it's like a bloody marathon, sometimes I go on for two, maybe three whole minutes. Anyway, I digress, there has been times when I haven't [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] after having sex for a considerable time (we're talking hours here), but this has been more to do with the hard drugs I'd been taking beforehand. Back when I was a shadow of my current self in the sack, my girlfriend at the time used to love it when I'd been taking hard drugs, in fact she used to positively encourage it. Sometimes I would [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse], sometimes not, but the point is she used to love it either way, as she got far more penetrative sex than she would have under normal circumstances. So no, not all women get a complex from their boyfriends not [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse], she was having too much fun to care. Just for the record, drugs are bad kids!

Isn't this thread quite pornographic and inappropriate? I was quite surprised to find it in Ethics and Morality which is described as a forum for the discussion and debate of ethics and morality OPEN TO ALL MEMBERS.
How is it pornographic? Well just so you'll there are some sexually charged topics in E&M, because this is the only place where you it seems you can talk freely about sex.

Interestingly enough, the sin of Onan was not masturbation, but coitus interruptus, which this is a variant on. Onan just waited a little longer and couldn't hold back even after withdrawing. So I guess that, if you want to get technical about it, it is immoral.

And then there's 1 Corinthians 7:1-9:
Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment. For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

Yes. It clearly shows a lack of will to procreate and is therefore a perversion of the purpose of sex.
It discriminates the woman in that it doesn´t allow her that which would give her ultimate fulfillment: her natural destination and purpose of being pregnant and being a mother. She is rightfully frustrated, and even if she´s not aware of it at that very moment, the psychological longterm consequences of being betrayed of your ultimate purpose are devastating.

They need to be put to death. Both.

Hmm. Sex is just so much better if everyone isn't focusing on [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] all of the time.

Of course there's nothing unethical if a man doesn't [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] during sex. Maybe you should expound upon your scenario, and actually discuss why this might be a problem.

The other day, I was reading if a woman takes in sperm regularly (at least 3 or 4 times a week) either orally or through the vaginal wall it has many health benefits, such as it helps with depression, fights cancer, helps your skin and loads and loads of other benefits that I can't be bothered to look up again. I'm not sure though, if denying your partner your sperm could be considered immoral though.

Well I don't know about that, but it gives me cramps, like period pain :p I think it's something to do with pheromones.

Just how many women have you been having sex with who are reporting this complex? Where did you get the theory that it gives women a complex? Why would not [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] be immoral?

How odd... well I don't know.. maybe it's not odd... since I can't recall actually asking anyone if sperm gives them cramps... [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] helps cramps though.... of course sperm needn't be involved for that.....

What was his reasoning? No I don't think it's immoral- but I would think if the women in his life were upset he must not have discussed his goal and his reasons with them. The polyamorous family I know is quite open about their assorted rounds of celibacy and whatnot. Nobody seems to just decide to do something without the other partners knowing about it and having some understanding of why.
