If she's not attracted to the attendees and that's her reason for going and she isn't willing to compromise why bother? She's going to say no. Do you think she's alone in that? People do it all the time.

If she stuck around long enough, then someone she's attracted to would show up in the future, until then, she can just enjoy the activity. :)

If the goal is connection why would she hangout with men she's not attracted to and keep coming in the hope he appears? It doesn't make sense.

I had heard quite a few women in the group mention that they aren't this particular group to date, just to "make friends", but are exclusive to doing online dating. And I'm like "Really? You're compartmentalizing dating?"
I've only heard that a few thousand times at coed Christian events. Honestly, why would I want to do that again? None of the women being interested in most of the guys (again). The difference is this time, they're older. Woohoo.

One of the men threw up a link to a rather mysogonistic YouTubers stated that men stopped going to these events because they get rejected by most of the women there, and go for the small percentage of Henry Cavill look-a-likes.
Putting it as gracefully as possible, I can see this as a concern. Who would be there - women who I have already asked out and rejected me? Exes or friends of exes? Women who are still using dating apps but won't date the guys who gave up on the dating apps?

I could only imagine the single gents in church, doing dagger eyes at the woman of their dreams bringing their "date" to church for the first time, wondering what rock did she dig him up from under?

If she's still the woman of his dreams after she rejected him, he hasn't let her go yet and it doesn't really matter where the other guy is from.
