Whats driving all this? Why are you struggling so much with it? Can you face the future without him if he won't make a reasonable commitment soon? And can you talk to him about this properly...??????
You need to be asking these questions for yourself, and you need to taslk to him soon, very soon... You'll destroy the relationship if you aren't careful, just talking behind your partners back will do that.
