I'm sixteen tomorrow morning, right when I wake up at six... I don't want to be sixteen, I feel like the majority of my years of childhood are now behind me, and all the fun I used to have is over. Now comes the era in my life of work, driving, and becoming independent. I honestly don't want to grow another year older.
Have any of you ever felt this way?

im almost 17 but i can say that you get an exponentially times more homework at around 16 than you did at 14 or 15

Eh never felt it, you will be surprised. Its actually fun growing up, you would be surprised how new responsibility can be pretty cool.

16! Gosh you are still young anyway!

Just make sure you enjoy the last few years left of being able to get away with being a teenager before you grow older. And who says you cannot be old and have fun!

That feeling will pass, I have felt that way as well. Things would be so much easier if I was still a child, but there are things to enjoy about growing up.

My advice, enjoy the last few years you have left before you have to start paying the bills

I really haven't felt that. I'm enjoying that point where I get to move out!
