• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

of all the people who could be held up as "weird" examples, St. Therese is not really one of them.
From what I have read, she did not really seek out suffering, she just accepted what had happened in her life as being a gift from God, all of it, and she sought to make the most out of everything that had been given to her.
no worry about the future, total trust in God, and humility about her own abilities

Yeah, I have been wondering about her. She's not as crazy as that article made her out to be, lol. Personally I hope some of it is true. I was that way as a Christian, and it would be nice to find other Christians that had those things in common. I don't view it as a bad thing or anything..

eh..

He had other examples of other people, but they made me want to puke.

How do you think your AMA is going?

It's going alright. I was actually worried it would be a dud and that no one would ask me anything, but I seem to be getting decent feedback.

yeah, I did not think you were, I was just thinking of the old HUAC hearings
I think people make too big of a deal about all that, I mean there really were communist spies at that time, and there really were people who wanted to make America into a communist country, yeah HUAC did get a bit carried away, but I can understand the motivation of that time, it is not like this was just some witch hunt, communism was a serious problem

What is your favorite Disney movie?

Which one did you dislike the most?

Favorite Disney film? I'd say the Hunchback of Notre Dame. It's dark (for a Disney film) it has religious themes..

Least favorite Disney movie? Peter Pan or something.. I don't really care for most of the 1960s and 1970's movies either.

I was not allowed to watch that film when I was a kid, lol.

Things like ghost and witchcraft was heavily looked down in my family.

Although I did watch the films years later.. I was a little surprised about some of the sexual content. What's the film rated?
