CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Honestly, 'the clique' is one of the things that bothers me about Singles.... like, I've been on the edge of it and out of it, but either way, I don't like it's existence....
there are still some people on here who have been cliquish enough that I haven't made friends with them yet.... not that they won't give me the time of day, but they don't seem interested in adding someone.

I have certainly enjoyed peoples presence here, so.. my list looks longer and I've interacted more with one then the other but they all have a friendly personality that I've appreciated around here. So yeah there are others that I still can talk to here on CF but not irl and I would'nt like to either because I am too different to have normal conversations with them.
Call it clique-sception but indeed that's how it works imo.
