That is true, yes , that is true.InnerPhyre said:I don't see the validity of the apparitions as being an issue. You can go and vist and be in a beatiful part of the world where everyone is Catholic and have a wonderful little pilgrimage without bothering about the apparitions at all.

This has also happened with apparitions that were later condemned...But in some cases the apparitions have resulted in a renewed faith of the people

However- I will wait for the Church's opinion-- in the meantime I find it far more prudent to venerate approved apparitions- such as Lourdes, Rue de Bac, Fatima, La Salette, and Guadalupe....
That pretty much is the Churchs stance right now on Medj. It is unknown about the apparitions but the Church has said it is a place of prayer and we are allowed to go there as a place of prayer, not to venerate the apparitions. As far as the validity of the apparitions, I have mixed feelings.InnerPhyre said:I don't see the validity of the apparitions as being an issue. Garbindal. EWTN and Mother Angelica were promoting this one big time that was/is officially discouraged. Padre Pio even though it to be authentic. Anyone can be fooled.ShannonMcMorland said:This has also happened with apparitions that were later condemned...

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
Yes, thank God we have the Church and not ourselves being our own authority.Sevryn45 said:I am not a Catholic, but in my opinion people should be carefull; test all spirits especially those who come to you in sheeps cloathing but inwards they are ravening wolfs.
