Medieval Times Add-on Story!!!

This is an add-on story, that is based in the Medieval Times era.
The Rules are:

1. Christianity IS in this. So, you can be a Christian if you want.
2.No killing someone else's character.
3. Romance IS allowed.
4. Ther can be a little gore.
5. There's no limit on how many characters you can have.
6.HAVE FUN!

NAME: Keisha McGrant
AGE: 19
GENDER: Female
DESCRIPTION: Long, currly, dark-brown hair with blonde, bright red, light-brown and black streaks, almost clear eyes, but have a tint of blue, slightly tan skin.
APPEARANCE: Usually wears a light blue dress, and keeps her hair in braid.
WEALTH: She's not wealthy, but she's not poor either. She has one friend.(someone else can play him/her.)
BREIF HISTORY: Her parents died when she was thirt-teen. She was seventeen when her fiance died. She lives alone.
PERSONALITY: Not very friendly, except to her best friend. Doesn't want to get close to anyone else. Hard to get along with most of the time. But is persistant, one can become friends with her.

Keisha's best friend is a 40 yr old woman who wears a brown dress, is poor but very wise. She wears her hair past her waist, straight & well kept. Her name is Ruth. She is a wise Christian woman who gardens & sews for money. She spends her money on those more needy than herself, and has a special place in her heart for Keisha.

Thanks for joining! Here's the setting: There is a Bow and Arrow turnament comming up soon, and all the Knights are going to be there. Very big event. You can have one of you characters be in it. Girls ARE allowed, but almost never take part in it. If you want your character to take part in it, that's fine. After the turnament, about two day's after, there will be a ball. In honor of the winners of the turnament.

My new character:

NAME: Marrco Longveiw
AGE: 23
GENDER: Male
DESCRIPTION: Long, blonde hair, deep green eyes, light skin(if anyone has seen LotR, he looks like Legolas.)
WEALTH: Very wealthy. He's a Knight, and is taking part of the turnament.
BREIF HISTORY: Parent's are still alive. Has two siblings(someone else can play them.)
PERSONALITY: Not snoby. Loves others, and has a strong faith in Christ.

Marrco walked around the square. Girls were pretty much crowding around him. He was getting annoyed, until his eyes fell upon a young girl. She was dressed in rather fine clothes. Her curly, dark brown hair, shone with red, blonde, light brown and black. Her dress was a light blue, and the dark blue was velvett.
He thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen.

Keisha sat under a tree, just looking around. She stood, and saw a young man staring at her. He looked like a Knight. She just put her best smile, and walked off.

THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMNET!


Keisha pushed her way through the crowd, to get up front. The Knights assembled, and Keisha saw the guy who'd stared at her the day before. He sat next to the King. Must be the Kings noblest Knight. she thought. The people that were going to be in the Tournamnet, stepped up. Most of the Knights stood, including the one who'd stared at her, and got ready.
He suddenly looked at her. He just stared, a slight smile on his face. Keisha got ansty, and, even though she wanted to stay, she left. She found Ruth, and talked with her.
"Why aren't you watching the tournament dear?" asked Ruth.
"A Knight was staring at me. I got uncomfortable, so I left."
"I see." Ruth replied. "Are you going to the ball in two day's?"
"Me? No."
"Why?" asked Ruth.
"Well, for one no one's asked me. Second, I wouldn't feel right. And, I don't have a dress."
"I see."
"You see everything don't you?" asked Keisha smiling.

Keisha returned to the tournament, just to watch from a distance. There wasn't any sing of "the Knight." She just sat on a hill, watching.
Suddenly, someone jumped infront of her.
"Hi." a voice said. Keisha jumped up, and tried not to scream. It was "the Knight"! Keisha got scared for a moment, and didn't say anything. He repeated.
"Hello."
"Hello." she said without thinking.
"I'm Marrco." he said, exstending his hand. She reached out to shake it, but instead of shaking it, he kissed it.
He just kissed my hand!
"And you are?" he asked. Curiosity sparkled in his eyes.
"Keisha."
"Beautiful name. A beautiful name, for a beautiful girl." Keisha was dumb-struck. She'd not been called beautiful for the longest time! She felt emotions stir inside her, that she'd not felt for years. She wanted to trust this Knight. But she had been so closed to the world, and in two seconds, opened back up.
"Would you like to walk with me?" he asked.
"I would, but I have to get back home." Keisha said nervously.
"Let me walk you home then." Keisha accepted his offer. As they walked, they talked about thier lives. Keisha saw he felt sorry for her, when he found out about her fiance.
When they got to her house, he asked her,
"Do you have someone to go to the ball with?"
"No."
"Will you go with me?" Keisha thought for a moment.
"I know we've just met, but I already feel as if I've known you for years."
"I feel the same with you."
"Then you'll come?" he asked hopefully.
"Yes, I will."
"Great. I'll see you later." he walked off, and as soon as he was out of sight, she ran to Ruth.

"Ruth! You know the Knight I told you about? Well, he walked me home, and asked me to go the ball with him!"
"Isn't it a little soon? You've just met."
"I know, but I feel as if I can trust him."
"Wonderfull."
"I only need something to wear."
"I'm sure you'll come up with something."
"I need to go, but I had to tell you." Keisha stopped by the Bakery, and picked up some bread, and headed home. When she got there, she saw a package for her. She opened it, and gasped. It was a pure white dress, made of shinny silk. The sleeves were long, and at the end, exspanded like a bell shape. It was long, and had a silver strap aroung the waist, which connected. Two strands fell from the middle of the strap, and fell to the end of the dress. Not only that, but there were pure white shoes. Keisha sat down, and cried. She had been so cruel to the world since her fiance had died, and now everything was turning around.

Wealth:Exremely wealthy, his father, Sir Loxom Landerath, owns a great amount of land right outside the Kings land. Though, William doesn't really like the attention.
Brief History:Jeorg Landerath was born very wealthy. After saving the prince from a devistating fall over a cliff, he was dubbed into kighthood, he was given the name Sir William Landerath. He was trained in fighting with almost every weapon.
Personality:Sir William is very polite and shy when it comes to meeting women. He's lots of fun to know. Once he makes and promise, he keeps it.
Tournment Colors:Jade and dark maroon.

Well, there's my character. There'll probably be another coming up. I'll post, for Calen's sake.

William stepped up to the line and pulled an arrow out of his sheeth. He klicked the end of the arrow onto the string and slowly pulled back. William closed one eye and aimed towards the bullseye. William exhaled slowly and let go of the arrow. The arrow flew exactly into the bullseye. The croud clapped and cheered. William walked away from the line and into his tent.

lol, i couldn't help but join in, but right now i'm sorta stuck on what to write. i'll post at least a sentence or two.

i guess i'm going to have two characters...

name: Rebekah "Diamond"
age: 19
description: light brown hair cut about chin length. one eye is blue and one is brown. stands about 5'6" with a slender build. tanned from being out doors all her life. though pretty, most wouldn't look twice at her because of her position in life.
wealth: dirt poor
brief history: parents were to poor to afford a sixth child so they dumped her on the streets. she steals and begs for a living.
personality: seemingly cold. she built a wall around her emotions to hide from the pain and not wanting to show that others biting remarks hurt her. once her protective wall is broken she can be a warm, fun loving girl. she earned the nick name Diamond from someone who saw her for who she really was.

ha! one down! i'll save the other for whenever i feel like posting... i think it'll be a guy though since there seems to be a shortage of guys

Diamond ducked among the crowd going through bags and purses. She was starving. She hadn't eaten a decent meal in weeks. Her stomach grumbled loudly and someone turned to look at her. She stared back flatly before walking on. Tournaments were the best time to make money. No one payed attention when someone bumped lightly into you and didn't realize until she was long gone that their money had disappeared. Suddenly, the crowd cheered. She looked up and saw a perfect bullseye. She wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. A man grabbed her wrist, "What do you think you're doing, girl?"

She looked at him fiegning innocence, "I... I'm sorry, sir, I didn't mean to run into you."

He glared at her his grip tightening, "And what is this?"

She looked at his purse as he removed it from her hand, "You had dropped it. I was going to give it back to you."

Diamond felt her wall weakening with fear. Stubbornly she willed it to stand. The man glared at her, "You're a theif."

She flinched inwardly, but remained outwardly unscathed. The crowd took up it's astonished muttering, "Theif?"

"Don't get to close, dear, she'll rob you blind."

"She's a theif, don't look at her."

"She'll corrupt you with her ways."

The muttering rose. The word theif rang in her ears and her fortification was beginning to crumble. She had to get away. Fast. She wrenched her wrist free and ran. She didn't care where, her home was the street, she just knew she had to get away.

Description: Tall rust red hair, green eyes, and 5’9, bronze colored skin from working to survive.
Wealth: Poor
History: Parents died in a fire was left to fend for him self he just steals for a living but only from very rich people and never steals more than enough money to get enough food. Is a friend of Rebekah "Diamond since he took her in to live in the old hovel he built.
Personality: Kind to those of his own position but mean to others, Likes to be left alone some times but is a very fun loving person.
Weapon: just a small dagger to cut the money bags from rich pockets, a bow and a quiver full of arrows (he’s' a good shot too) and a staff from a pine tree to protect his property.


Jack was picking pockets on the other side of the arena he found a huge bulging moneybag in front of him. He licks his lips and pulled out his knife he cut the strap quickly taking the bulging bag with him. This is the biggest catch of the day Rebekah and I will eat well for a while and I can get some blankets for the widow and her children. He ran into Rebekah and asked how she did. Fine except one guy caught me. Well don't worry about it I think we have enough to survive on for a while so lets enjoy the tournament. The two leaned back on the fence over watching the tournament when the horns of the King blew and the kings messenger stepped up with some parchment in his hand. Attention the King has decided to open the tournament to all that wishes to enter the prize is 5000 gold coins. Jack whistled in amazement.

Description: dark eyes with a shade of green, shoulder length soft brown hair that wraps around her head
Appearance: wears a brouse, soft green trousers and a rain-proof green cloak, plus quite comfortable boots. Carry around a short sword and daggers, not very good with the short sword though but quite efficient with dagger throwing.
Wealth: depends
Bio: left home about two years ago, been travelling around the world to collect stories and write up a book on her journey. Traveled around with a sharp looking falcon that she picked up along the way.
Personality: less shy around strangers then she was when she left home. Loved to interact with people and help out, but the journey had made her feeling quite lonesome sometimes.

After the horse had run off for the third time, Oridea was feeling quite irritated.
*Why can't i have a good trained horse for a change?*
Whistling softly, she veered off the road into the bushes in search of her horse. Her falcon, Ruffle, though he wasn't looking as ruffled as he was when Oridea first found him, regarded his companion with resignation.
"I didn't ask for this!" she protested.
Ruffle cocked his head, then with a flip of wings took off to bring the stupid horse back. Oridea followed him, wondering when she could reach the next available town.

Description: Green eyes, fairly tall, Brown hair, and very kind.
Appearance: Wears light chain mail almost all the time.
Wealth: Rich (just because his father is a knight)
Bio: He was poor un-till his mother married a knight, Wants to give to the poor.

Hmm, a thief... Alex thought, Maybe I should fallow him, or was it a her?

Alex ran out in to the street just as someone darted around a corner.

Then he felt a knife to his throat.

Royal guards appeared from the way the thief had ran. "Let him go!" yelled one of the guards. "Back away, and nobody get's hurt!" yelled the thief. "Hey, just chill man! I'm a thief too. You can slip me the thing you stole, you can let go of me, and get away, while they don't know I have the thing you stole. We can meat at the townsquare tonight, make sure nobody sees you." said Alex. The thief thought about it for a while while keeping the guards back. "Deal." said the thief the item he stole into Alex's back pocket. "I'm out of here." said the thief letting go of Alex. The guards ran after him.

Keisha was picking up apples from the apple orchard, when some guards on horses rode by. Rather, zoomed by. Keisha just shrugged, picked up her basket of apples and went back home.
The tournament was still going, but only the best were in. She was rather good with a bow and arrow. She only hoped she'd never have to use it. She was somewhat lonely, but knew it was her fault. She'd been closed to the world, and now it comming back at her.
But, Ruth had always said that things would turn out. And they were. Keisha still couldn' beleive she had been asked o the ball, by a Knight! The thought made her tingle with excitment. She walked up to her house(more like a hut) and saw something rather strange going on in the square. She put the apples inside, and ran to see what was happening.
When she got there, guards were standing everywhere, and people had gatherd around. Keisha caught the word theif alot. She turned to walk back to her house, when someone ran into her, and practically shoved her into the mud. A kind man, around age 26, helped her up.
"Thank you." Keisha said.
"Are you alright miss?" he asked.
"Oh, I'm fine. It's not the first time I've fallen in the mud. Thank you though." Keisha said. She walked back up the hill, and went inside her home. She changed from her light-blue dress, to her more formal, green one. It was silk, accept around the waist it was velvate. She brushed her curly locks, and washed her dress.

'Great, now we'll need a new meeting place' Alex thought.

And Alex started walking off to the Tournamnet.

Emily Rose went to her father where he was sitting in his study "Father, I'm going to go to the tournament now." "Ok daughter be sure to take a body guard with you. There will be lots highway men this week." "Ok father" and she stooped to give her father a kiss. Will be back tonight."

Emily went and tald the barn worker to get her horse Lighting ready. After the horse was ready she got on and rode to the tournament.

The tournament went on the rest of the day. Keisha woukd watch every now and then, to see how the best did. They were very good. She didn't see Marrco though. She wondered if he wasn't good enough, or if he just didn't want to do it. She went along with her daily work, hoping the day would go by fast.

Diamond grinned at Jack, "Impressed aren't you? It seems like nobles have nothing better to do than spend money to get more money. Why don't we go take it before they realize it?"

Jack shook his head, "No, Diamond. We've got more than enough to live on for a week."

Diamond frowned, "I know, but still, that's on starvation rations."

Jack chuckled, "Well, you can't expect to eat like a king with our position in life and all."

Suddenly, they heard the sound of running feet. They turned and saw soldier's running. The captain stopped to ask a man nearby if he had seen a suspicous person run by, "Why?"

The captain replied, "Because it's a thief. A lowlife. Someone not decent enough to work for a living."

Jack nudged Diamond, "I think we better go now."

Diamond blinked, "We? But I'm the one they're after. You're going to miss the tournament."

Jack grinned pushing her along, "Don't make such a fuss. We're both in this together."

It took half an hour to search and get the horse back onto the road, by then, the sun was setting, Oridea gave her horse a pat on the head,
"Now you did it!" she said sarcastically.
Ruffle took off from a nearby branch.
"Wait for me!"

It was almost dark by the time she arrived at the city. First thing first, she went in search of an inn. Inside the lobby, the atmosphere was smoky with a heavy smell of beer. Oridea frowned at the smell. She made her way towards a free space at a table and sat down, signalling the passing maid for a hot meal.

Snatches of conversations drifted around,
"So this's Aliqua," the old man next to her concluded.
Oridea dropped her spoon onto the plate which clinked as it struck. All on the table turned to her.
"Aliqua? Did you say THIS CITY is Aliqua?" she demanded.
The old man with a tankard in his hand nodded, "Yeah, this's Aliqua young lady."
*Oh no!* she thought desperately, *I've got to get out of here*

"But this's Aliwa!" she protested, wanting to make sure that she didn't hear it wrong.
The people around the table chuckled, "Aliwa is the twin city of Aliqua," a rat faced looking man explained, "You're not the first one to have taken the wrong road down."
Oridea hurriedly finished the food on her plate, excusing herself, she rushed into the stable at the back of the inn.

The horse was none too happy about her decision to leave, it snorted a few times before Oridea managed to get it onto the street, paying the stable boy a copper as she passed.
And she stopped dead on her track.
