Listen my friend, no one here is denying that God is goodness itself, or that He is perfection (well CabVet may disagree, but that's for another time) what we're telling you is WE are not goodness itself, or perfection. WE are FALLEN. Otherwise, we would've had no need for Jesus sacrifice.
I would agree about Jesus being goodness and perfection. The God of the old testament? Not so much... He was a mean one! Killed too many. In addition, He didn't make us well enough the first time and had to wipe out everything with a flood. That didn't work either, so He had to sacrifice His son, not much perfection either...
