Measuering large

Well we maybe finding out what we are having on the 14th. I have to get an ultrasound cause I am measuring 30 instead of 25, like I should be. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

twins?

It could mean lots of things. The two most common reasons are that you are further along than you thought or you could be having twins.

Yeah, um I hope not, the first two ultrasounds showed only one in there, and last month I measured right on for how far I was. But I will find out more on the 14th.

Even a greater chance of you having twins then!! I sometimes wonder if I may be with twins, but that would be a slim chance. There are twins in the family, so I may be carrying the gene...Let us know what they say!

I will let you guys know. Oh I did the glucose test today, if you are given a choice pick the lime drink, it tastes like sprite.

I always skip the glucose tests (since I never have diabetic symptoms anyhow, I figure it's a pretty safe bet that I don't have gest. diabetes--why test?).



My best friend measured large...and it turned out to be twins! Two adorable curly-headed blondy girls, now 3, that are going to break some hearts when they get older!


As for me, I always measure perfectly accurate. It's kind of annoying to ALWAYS be right on the mark, but I guess there are worse things that could happen.


And I have to say, I think I needed the pregnancy clothes earlier than I thought, because I got into them today and am wearing some capri's from my last pregnancy that are SO comfortable. They won't fit by the 3rd trimester, but for now, AHHHHHHH... I didn't realize how irritatingly tight my regular pants were getting!

well I have to redo the 1 hour glucose test before my next appointment January 6th. Because my level 140 and that is the cut off.

I was wondering diabetes. Diabetic pregnancies produce big babies.

Nice ultrasound pic! It looks a lot more like a real, cute little baby once they start putting on body fat. (As the ultrasound doctor was so kind to point out to me, my baby at 20 weeks - right around Halloween - looked like a little skeleton.)
