Pam Bondi Grants Hillary Clinton Email Probe Request Amid Epstein Furor

If this doesn't work, expect cries of "Laptop! What about the laptop?"

Or maybe an investigation into Obama's birth certificate. Anything to stop the bleeding.

Trump can't stop MAGA from obsessing about the Epstein files

Even his supporters recognize that it's extremely suspicious that he won't come clean on the list that could clear him of pedophila. Assuming he's not on the list.

Interesting. Everything is supposed to be a distraction from the Epstein files. It's starting to look like the Epstein files are a distraction from everything else.
Trump is furious that MAGA isn't buying that story.

It’s about time the other shoe drops. Justice has been lopsided for the past 10 years.
Remember, the Jan 6 and Russiagate criminals were convicted and sentenced. Just because Trump pardoned them, doesn't mean they aren't criminals.

Sure, most of them after being threatened, or being held for years on misdemeanor charges without their case going to court. And just because James Comey and Brennan and Obama hid their dirty secrets and didn’t get caught (until now) doesn’t mean they aren’t criminals. It just means that justice isn’t as blind as she’s supposed to be. Until now.

Right. And just because James Comey and Brennan and Obama hid their dirty secrets and didn’t get caught
Comes down to evidence. Trump is a convicted felon because he committed felonies. Obama isn't because there is no evidence. The story being peddled by Trump is just another attempted diversion from the Epstein problem. All the other attempted diversions failed. So will this one.

doesn’t mean they aren’t criminals.
Lack of evidence means they aren't criminals. And yes, we hear "soon the evidence will be released."

Like Trump's tax returns. And his medical files. And his college transcripts. Obama released all of his.
But of course, Obama had nothing to hide.

And now the Epstein files. They were on his AG's desk, ready to go. And then, they weren't. Now, they aren't being released. For reasons people are beginning to figure out.

Trump's denial of the infamous letter, including his false claim that he never draws anything has hurt him:

Of course, none of that proves he wrote this letter and drew the accompanying picture. But again, Trump is undercutting his own credibility. Why lie about doodling — especially since it’s easily disprovable?
And it’s possible we could learn more about this. There has been some talk about having Maxwell — who the Journal reported solicited the letter — testify before Congress.

...
A Florida-based businessman told the New York Times in a 2019 interview that he raised concerns about Epstein’s conduct ahead of a 1992 “calendar girl” event. “I said, ‘Look, Donald, I know Jeff really well, I can’t have him going after younger girls,’ ” the businessman, George Houraney, said. (The first Trump White House did not comment on that report.)
Longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone wrote in his 2016 book about a scene in which Trump talked about how Epstein’s “swimming pool was full of beautiful young girls.”
“How nice, I thought,” Trump said, according to Stone, “he let the neighborhood kids use his pool.”

Smoke and mirrors, all of it.
Evidence. Facts. Stone is a Trump follower. He was just careless in revealing something telling.

Trump could end all this, just by coming clean and showing the unredacted files. The fact that he won't, is very instructive.
