and with that...my weekend has been fantabulous!
my guy came to visit for a couple of days...
my 2nd granddaughter was born yesterday, mom and Bell are doing fine home from hospital already...
Addie's trying to figure out why she has to share her mommy (they're exactly 1 year apart...both born on 10/10 LOL)

Other than that...I did finally get a few days off work and a bit of rest in between all the events happening.

Wow that's cool. Two granddaughters born on the same day? and 10-10 to boot? Well at least you won't forget their birthday's lol.

5 week trip huh dayhiker? That would be pretty amazing. You must be in amazing shape for all the hiking and biking you do. I had no idea....of course we haven't seen pictures of the hike yet, so I guess you could be pulling our leg

Well I got the night off last night.. LOL.. from driving kids to and fro... still had the kids but could get in my pjs early!! I rarely get a day off.. being a single mum and all.. but then I don't have to go out to work which is a blessing in itself..

Today our family finally got digital TV... LOL.. I was so excited.. for the last nine months we have had to watch a Tv with only about three stations and it was not a good reception.. Now a bigger screen.. and we have many more stations and they are all crystal clear.. Wow I was jumping up and down like a little kid.. Yes I really was.. The kids dad and me chipped in half each and it is an early family christmas present.. He and I had lunch together which was lovely.. yes he paid.. he is having kids tonight and has taken them out for a while.. Let me use his computer.. as we don't have internet at home..

Things have been really pleasant between us.. the only bad thing about today.. is going home and leaving the family.. but all things considered I get a break and I am very blessed.. the TV was a good price much bigger then I thought I could afford..

Today I slept...came to work...have 2 hours left, thankfully...
Found out I do have bronchitis...no wonder I'm coughing and having trouble breathing heh...yep...low grade fever all night even with tylenol...
12 more hours to work tonight adn then I'm off for 2 nights...maybe that will help.


Kira received her report card...all A's except language...and that was a high B so I'm happy She's a good girl....though starting to get really clingy with all the hours I'm working and away from the house....

Admittedly I haven't a clue hwat I'd do if mom hadn't moved in wtih me a couple of years ago.

Aside from that there's not been much else going on...

My ex has thrown me for a huge loop in the last couple of days and I'm not really sure what to think or how to take it...it'll keep until I'm done with my job and taking that first couple of weeks off to spend with Kira and get myself rested and back in good health...I can meditate on it then and scry for answers...

mmmm...yep....I think that's my update...
Time to go work some more for a bit

I might have to work additional hours as my take home pay will decrease. I want to give french tutoring lessons at home. Hopefully it will work!

I'm so glad it is Friday and am looking forward to a peaceful and blessed weekend.

As usual, the Lord has seen me through another work week. I have so much to do this weekend including reconnecting with friends at church. I also hope to have some down time if my greyhounds will let me.

I might as well chime in too. Almost finished with work for the week, but not quite. I have a route that I do on Saturdays, so I won't be done until about 11:00 Chicago time. Long days, not enough money, a letter from the government (I owe them money, they're not happy)--- But, the weather has been decent this week and promises to be good this coming week, so maybe there's something there.

Big news: By dumb chance I found the President's house. He lives in the Kenwood neighborhood, I won't be more specific than that. I had a delivery on his block, and the giveaway is there are a ton of barricades in a neighborhood that otherwise doesn't have any barricades, plus a surplus of secret servicemen. A huge SUV blocks one end of the street and the Secret Service makes sure nobody who doesn't live there gets in or out without being challenged.
