I've moved many times in my life, to places where I didn't know a soul, or just took my family with me. It was always fun to go build new friends and a new life.

Well.....I survived! 2 days of working until the wee hours and getting less than 4 hours of sleep and working at my regular job. Whew! done for the week. One of my co-workers asked if I could work for her, but I said I could NOT lol. I have to take my dog to the vet and I would not survive 3 days in a row, unless I was already scheduled and geared for it. Plus the last 2 days were ridiculous so....I need a break and it's not worth the 30 bucks I would make. I need sleep!

Taking my older "puppy" for his check up tonight. The test on our 2 yr old for Valley Fever came back negative, but we are going to keep giving her meds for a couple of months and re-test her. When she has her meds she uses her leg a little. One of the meds is for pain so that's why. Hoping the older "puppy" doesn't have VF

Well, so far I've made another hole in the garage stuffs gettign sorted through and I've got a couple loads of laundry done...aside from that not much going on this weekend.

Going out with friends tonight, a local place called Chubby's...a 50's style diner with typical diner food...not too bad on flavor, hell on calories

Its so hard to turn down calories. I went to Churck's this morning for breakfast ... got chuck's 2 2 2, don't even want to know how many ... hmmm tastee tho.

So a weird thing happened this morning, kind of freaked me out. I have been on a diet for 4 weeks now, thru a clinic and they suggested these supplements. I have been taking them for over a week with no issues. The Dr. had suggested taking one before each meal 3 times a day and increase it to 2 at each meal. So after one week of once a day, this morning I took 2 (its the only thing I did differently except having spinach quiche last night, but I've had spinach dip before and never had a problem). So anyway within about 15 minutes I became really itchy and then really hot (like on fire hot, not like hot flash hot). So I go look in the mirror and I am totally read everywhere and I can feel myself swelling up. FREAKED me out! I immediately took some benedryl and drank my breakfast shake and eventually I went back to normal. SO weird (and uncomfortable)

I just got my blood work back from my physical ... couple of things not quite normal. Doc said my vitamin D was was low. They have been testing a lot of people this winter. Many of them are low. So I got to take a pill twice a day now. But I'm still really healthy.

I just got my blood work back from my physical ... couple of things not quite normal. Doc said my vitamin D was was low. They have been testing a lot of people this winter. Many of them are low. So I got to take a pill twice a day now. But I'm still really healthy.

for how long? I heard you can get too much so be careful. I'd rather get mine from the sun

I get hot flashes from my diet supplements, but other than that no bad reactions.
Good thing you had benedryl on hand!

Ya, I have milk most mornings with my cereal. Once in a while milk with supper.

Doc said I'd take 1000 units of vit D twice a day for 3 months and then get tested again.

So last night I went home, got my lawn chairs out and sat in the sun for 15 mins. Of course just my face and arms were exposed ... can't have people getting offended at having more off! lol

Me too! The doctor has me taking 5000 IU a day. Seems like a lot! Must have been really low.
