Matthew 22:30 = Unfair To Perpetual Singles?

Why won't there be sexual attraction. Could there be a new type of attraction?
Couldn't guys kiss girls and vice versa just for pleasure? It wouldn't have to be to prepare for sex.
Couldn't guys have special relationships with girls? It wouldn't have to be marriage. It could be... I don't know, family? Not as in kinship or blood.

What about chase sexual love as Swedenborg or Chadwick puts it?

So anyone who never has the chance in this life will be out of luck in the New Earth as well? If God promises to repay believers for all their troubles and/or missed opportunities, then what about that? If anything, that verse seems like it could pressure some otherwise-faithful singles to commit fornication ('May as well experience it now, while there's still time. Besides, God will forgive me, right?').

Or does that verse simply mean NE relationships will be like what Adam and Eve originally had---lacking any marriage-related legalism?

Marriage is about having someone to walk through life with, someone who understands everything about you and loves you regardless of your imperfections. Marriage is about having someone to share in the workload so everything isn't on your shoulders alone, about someone who shares in your joys and pleasure as well. A true friend.

In God's daily presence, God is all that and more to us, in ways we don't even begin to fathom.

The physical pleasure of sex isn't something lasting, and simply won't compare even for those who knew it in life... No one will miss it.

Well... Saying that God's presence means that marriage and sex is unnecessary is like saying that it means food and drink or... trees, rivers, animals, plants, possessions, and friends is unnecessary.

You don't think God can't replace it with something better, that does last and doesn't require the physical act?

Why not continue with physical acts?
