Matching flowers?

This is similar to what I want my wedding to look like, although mine will be in a church.

But I cant use roses for all the reception table centerpieces because roses are expensive. My mother recommended a few yellow or white gladiolus per table. Will this still look good? I feel it would be weird to have different flowers but maybe I dont know what I am talking about.

I love gladiolus! I think those would be beautiful on the table. If you are worried about it matching, have you ever considered using a mixture of glads and roses for the bouquets?

This is probably more greenery and different colors than you want, but here's an example. It could be really pretty!

I would discuss it with your florist. I think flowers other than roses can look great, even if your bouquets were roses

I'd rather have different flowers just to change things up a bit. I think it will look fine as long as the colors don't clash.
