Okay, so I'm a single mother and I was in a relationship for ten years but that's over now. I never needed to touch before because I was always taken care of in that department but now I'm not. I've heard some people say its a sin and some say it isn't as long as I'm not watching porn or anything like that. I just don't want curses to fall upon me and my kids if I touch. It's just I have no intentions of being with anyone anytime soon so what do I do until then if masturbating is a sin? Please tell me what yal think.

Wish I knew. I was a single dad for seven yrs Struggle as I might at least ever 2mos. had to take care of it. Got into a relationship but not married. Conscience wouldnt allow me to go to church and have that relationship. Of course I stopped going! Duh! For I cant remember how long. But jt kinda fizzeled and church again and touching yourself again. We did finally marry. For three yrs. Then she passed away. So back to square one. IDK. To do that you must fantasize. Who do you fantasize about~ is that where the sin comes in? But like clockwork I find myself struggleing. Made it 3mos. So far. It would be easier to just get rid of the tension and distraction. But then the knowledge of purposely sinning. Sorry I have no real answer other than to say there are probably lots of others out here trying to navigate same situation. May God Bless.

How many people have masturbated at one time or another? Just about everybody.
What does the Bible ever say about masturbation? Nothing.
So let us all follow the Biblical example and say nothing as well.

I think that many believe it helps to facilate one's body and mind for a higher connection to God. I think sex is completely natural, but is it only for pleasure?
