Master of Orion

Does anyone play the computer game Master of Orion? I have the 3rd one.

I used to play MOO2 a lot. MOO3 was so incredibly buggy that I gave up on it, after discovering that I couldn't even play it without a crack on my laptop, thanks to the abysmally awful copy protection.

Maybe it got better, but when I was playing, it seemed to be a very weird game. I liked MOO2, where wormholes were a rarity, rather than being, in practice, the only method of transit available.

MOO2 was AWESOME heh, i was gonna buy MOO3 but i heard it royally sucked comparitively, id rather load up star control 3 and play it heh. the only problem with MOO2 was that there was a 'perfect' configuration for ships that made you invulnerable heh, but you had to have every tech to do it basically, other then that the game rocked.

MOO 1 was great, its a classic. MOO 2 is the best one by far. MOO 3 was the downfall of the series, it will take a lot for the games to recover after that flop.

I have to agree that MOO2 was by far the best game. I got MOO3 and was not very happy with at all. I waited along time for it. After playing it for 2 day, just gave up. I never had the chance to play MOO1, never even seen the game.
