Already 29 and no christian woman in sight. And to be honest I really have bigger issues than dating and finding a girlfriend somehow. I also think it's pretty crazy that as a christian you are bound to find a christian woman. I mean what if at your church there are no women or only very few then you gotta choose from them? I think this is really crazy.

That's great. I'm glad for you.
But I'm not popular with women and people in general and I also only know a handful of christians and they're all much older than me.

Well... don't give up why don't you pray and ask God to help you in that area. God does answer prayer ya know?

I have prayed for other things and it didn't work and like I said I really have other problems which are much more important than having a girlfriend.

cudos crespo for pointing out Pauls thorn in the flesh. Kind of funny how people can read those scriptures and still try to come up with something completely different, from the book of imaginations, lol.
I know their are people who have had dozens of sexual partners in their past, and would of much rather have stuck with M'ing, than to have that promiscuity hanging over them.
On a more personal note my wife read that having having sex every day, increases the chances of the woman getting pregnant with a girl. 99% of woman aren't going to consistently do that for weeks at a time, so doing the M thing is the only way to make it happen.

I thought about something. I guess one could say that sex in marriage isn't just for reproduction, right? It's also to bring fun right?
Then even if masturbating is legal for single people in order to release some pressure then does this mean that it's only about functionality like blowing your nose in order to clean it?
What do you think about this? Would masturbating for fun be a sin, meaning that if one does it then it should only be about the function?

What do you mean?

There is no where in the bible where MB is EXPLICITLY writen as a sin so why do so many christians and churchs seem to hyper focus on it, there are in fact alot of other sins that ARE EXPLICITLY writen that get no where near the attention that MB and sex without a piece of paper get. I wonder if this is a ploy by the devil to get everyone throwing stones at each other for something thats not even in the bible while putting very real sins on the back burner.

Crespo,

Sexuality is a basic necessity of life on terms of reproduction and in terms of a basic desire that needs to be satisfied. No sex is not simply for reproduction, it is also for satisfaction and when speaking of masturbation specifically and it's done innocently I think it's perfectly ok to enjoy it. Obviously partner assisted sex is supposed to be extremely enjoyable... probably the most enjoyable thing on earth i'd say.

I don't know .. is it? i've asked this question before and got mixed answers. You can touch without having lustful thoughts- IT IS possible.
When I did I never had any lustful thoughts at it. Mainly did it for feeling good/pleasure . What was God's intent for it? A way to escape sexual indulges? Or the complete opposite?

Our preacher talked last night about smoking for example.
There is no where in the bible where it says don't smoke, but it's bad for your health.

I dunno, I have mixed thoughts about masturbation. How can you do it and not have lustful thoughts, and you want a release?

My thoughts focus on my wife if and when I do touch. Since she is my wife, I do not believe that is a sin.

I will be praying for you. I know it's really hard in life to find true love, or sometimes love at all. I'm nearly giving up on all of it myself. But I want to remind you, as Jesus reminds me everyday... Jesus wants you to be happy! He wants to see you smile. He wants to give you your hearts desires! What's important, is that we keep our faith that he wants what's best for us.

I hope this helps.

Thankyou i think i found the conclussions i been looking for,in saying that both sex and mastabation is more to do with the thoughts of the heart and mind than the physical feeling,in other words sex and mastabating lustfully is a sin,but sex or mastabating done when you think of someone you absolutely love(providing the persons not married to someone else or their the same gender as you),then its not a sin.

No, that's still a sin. Sex or masturbating done outside of marriage is a sin.

I believe it is sin because your thinking about fornicating with other people which is sin biblically. A friend once asked me, are you thinking about your future wife when you do it or something else? Yes I think it's better than fornicating which some people may disagree, which is what I have resOrted to, but it still is sin.
