Interesting. I guess I'd have to agree. My first impression of the word "many" would also lead me to believe that perhaps I've been left out. I think we can say "all" without necessarily meaning absolutely everyone past, present or future. In essence, Christ did die (shed His blood) for all, but that doesn't imply that all will be saved as result. Make sense?
hmmm..Christ did shed his blood for all, but not all will choose heaven
I agree.
Basically does it really matter?
He didnt shed His Blood for the few who accept but for all, however; only the few who will accept does it sanctify.
But given His love, all are invited...few shall come. But anyone at any time can join.
His redemptive Blood covers all who desire Him to do so. It will not, but for our free will, redeem all who refuse to accept Him.
So although the many are saved, all have the ability to join in faith to His shed blood for our sins.
