  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I realize that there are many misrepresentations about Masons. And certainly they not are perfect. But why is there such a campaign against them. I have not know many personally who are Masons, but they seem very much like anyone else. Many of the U.S. leaders have been members of the Masons and it was at one time very prestigous to be a member of the Masons. Why the turn around

How come the secrets? Only cowards need hide. Is their investment in prosperity? Doesn't the gospel say that all the secrets will be revealed? Who attempts to stand against God?

If you don't tell me your bank account number, does that make you a coward? I think we agree that the answer is no.

The "secrets" (I use quotes here because one can find them rather easily) of Freemasonry are modes of recognition and non-monitoral portions of the ritual. Can you find them on Google? Sure. But I took an oath not to disclose them, and so I never will.

Deuteronomy 29:29

New Living Translation (NLT)

29 “The Lord our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions."

Generalizations aren’t a good idea.

If the Holy Spirit reveals all, who is to stand, aside from God Himself?

Thank you. What ritual must one endure in becoming a freemason?

Are there any secrets you hold onto that you would not reveal unto others? If so, how come? If not, then what is the point?

Something tells me you are not being as honest with us add we'd like.

If you have question, ask them. If I don't want to answer them, I'll let you know.

If you have a question for me, please feel free to ask. Besides personal information such as my bank account number and what state I live in.

Please forgive me if I sounded disrespectful.

If a regualr guy wanted to become a part of the Freemasons or Knights Templar, what must he do?
Are there secrets that he must keep secret?
Are the Knight Templar for Catholics only?

If you want to be a mason go to a local lodge and speak with someone there.

There are secrets you are asked to keep. Those of us with integrity and morals do. Those that have no integrity, well, you can see most of it on the internet.

Toy may be confusing the Knights of Columbus, which is the Catholic version of freemasonry.

I appreciate your kindness towards me. I havn't read much about the secrets of the free mason or knights of columbus.

Can you answer one question though? Do Masons get special privileges that others dont? A flashing of a ring or a hand signal?

-Perhaps some do.
-Maybe, I can't say.
-Yes.
-No.

No. No one should be treated better or worse based on who they associate with. Now, if I were presented with two people I didn't know, Jones a mason and Smith not, I would know somewhat more about Jones than Smith (that he was investigated by a committee and found to be an upstanding man in his community and was elected unanimously to his Lodge), but as a Christian, were both in need, I would do my best to assist both. I also wouldn't assume anything negative about Smith because he was not a Lodge member.
