My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my savior. For he has looked upon his handmaid's lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed. Luke 1:46-48
In response to unfavorable remarks towards Protestants- who are supposed to suffer in silence, presumably. Then perhaps, YOU shouldn't be posting, because its YOU who made the statenments toward Catholics, that were responded to.
Jim
The word 'blessed' implies no degree of worthiness, either in the terms of the Bible, or in ordinary sense.Being chosen by God to give birth to His son, makes her blessed among women.

Personal remarks are something quite, quite different.
Prove it.I have not see any unfavorable remarks towards Protestants

It's reference to the recognised greatness of Jesus, not Mary. Then why is Mary's words, "from this day, all generations will call me "blessed,' included in Scripture, if it so irrelevant as you suggest ?
Then one honors one's own mother! Also, Jesus, perfectly observed the 4th Commandment, to honor mother and father, and so, he perfectly honors Mary, and we merely imitate Jesus in honoring her as well.
Prove it.
Write just one sentence that can be proved true.
It is. It is possible to prove that one is not lying. Its not possible to prove a negative.
It is. It is possible to prove that one is not lying.
Nobody's done that.
It is. It is possible to prove that one is not lying.
So whoever controls Mary, controls people. Keeping good people in their place is so important.I think it just be better to remember what Mary once said concerning her son.
Mary said " Whatever my son tells you, do. "
Gen 3:15 does not contain the words 'Immaculate Conception' or 'Mary', so please explain.Gen 3:15 prophesizes the Immaculate Conception of Mary so she may give birth to Our Lord.
The Roman Catholic Bible I have here has this:Luke 1:28 gives reference to the grace God has bestowed on her by freeing her from the stain of Original Sin at her Immaculate Conception when the Angel Gabriel greets her "Hail Mary, Full of Grace"
Is that what your priest told you?Luke 1:28 says ... And coming to her he said, "Hail Mary full of grace! The Lord is with you."
If you look at the Greek translation, they translate it Kecharitomene, which basically means to fill with grace.
