Then why is Mary's words, "from this day, all generations will call me "blessed,' included in Scripture, if it so irrelevant as you suggest ?

I don't think it takes much reasoning to see that Mary being chosen by God, to be the mother of Jesus Christ, as something beyond what any other women would ever experience.

Also, Jesus, perfectly observed the 4th Commandment, to honor mother and father, and so, he perfectly honors Mary, and we merely imitate Jesus in honoring her as well.

It's reference to the recognised greatness of Jesus, not Mary.

It is you who have said that unfavorable statements have been made toward Protestants in this thread. It is therefore your obligation to prove that your statement is true.

The purpose of this thread is to question the Catholic Dogma of Mary being sinless. Catholics have answered why we believe this. You have attacked those answers, which merely shows that you have no interest in understanding what Catholics believe.

Fine. Its not my purpose to make you believe Catholic dogma, but merely to explain it.

The Roman Catholic Bible I have here has this:

It's very difficult to know how one works out that Mary was sinless from that.

If you look at the Greek translation, they translate it Kecharitomene, which basically means to fill with grace. This word was rarely used in the Bible. The perfect present participle was also used which moves Catholics to believe that the grace extended from the moment of conception to her death.
This is truly a mystery of the Catholic Church. We as Catholics are able to understand this because God has opened our eyes to this through prayer. If you refuse to believe then God has to help you to understand. Why not try praying and meditating on this. Put aside your bias, and just ask God to show you the truth. It wouldn't hurt.
