  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So, is anyone else a "Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives" fan.
My best friend got me hooked on them, so I just recently became a fan of them.

I'm going to see them in concert next weekend with my best friend and am super excited.

So..
What does everyone else think about them?

Superlative Creed.
Serve God.
Love All.

[That is the creed Marty Stuart created for those who do not know]

Marty is a great musician and a great historian of country music. For awhile there he sort've fell into the pop side of contempory country but it seems he has seen the error of his ways. The Pilgrim, Country Music and Badlands are great albums. Live at the Ryman is good too.

Since I quit listening to traditional country music...I feel lost...I just loved the old style country music..Marty Stewart as well..But rededicating myself to Jesus...Had to let all that beer drinking, cryin in your beer style of music go...Have'nt tried to connect to any traditional style country gospel or bluegrass...Really not sure if any of it exist's...Just love that steel gutair music..Thats why I don't miss the new stlye country..no steel gutair..they replaced it with a keyboard...To bad for Country Music...All of my old music got stolen so I'm not tempted to rebuy it...But sure miss the sound of traditional country..Do you havwe any idea's...Thanks Jack..You can e-mail me at jdgroning@yahoo.com..Thanks again
