Council of Jamnia - Wikipedia
This wikipedia blurb seems to question if there ever was a Council of Jamnia - which supposedly "threw out" the Deuterocanonical OT writings -- iow -- writings ONLY in the Septuagint but not in Masoretic texts
The od thing to me is Septuagint had been around for a long time, and most quotations of OT in the NT are from Septuagint version; Septuagint a translation of Hebrew OT into Koine Greek, the same language the NT was written in.
I have an Orthodox Study Bible, which has all the RCC deuterocanonicals plus a little bit more
