CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Wow it's kinda hard to find someone that was born the exact millisecond as you... so it's more practical to marry either younger or older... but I'm leaning towards monasticism myself so I guess none of the above

Nod wisely at the first sentence, laugh at the second. I think generally women prefer men older than they are, and men prefer women to be younger...which works out well for everyone, doesn't it?
I think it probably has to do with the fact that females mature at a much faster pace than males, so generally speaking a 20 year old male is not as mature as a 20 year old female.

I also think that the older you are when you get married makes a big difference in that generality. I would say that a 20 year old woman will almost always marry a man older than herself, while a 30+ year old woman will likely marry closer to her own age. Again, I think it has alot to do with maturity levels, and of course, does not hold absolutely true for everyone.
For myself, my husband is five years older than me. At 33 and 38 it's not such a great difference in any aspect, but when we met I was 16 to his 21. A very great difference age-wise, but not maturity-wise. We were about even.

I am older than my fiance by four months. My mom is older than my dad by two months. My grandmother is older than my grandfather by six months. So, at least in my family the women prefer younger men
