How is Levin not also "compliant old media"? How is he not also "circling the wagons" for the GOP? Should Drmocrats be surprised Levin is not a fan of Harris? Lol.

None of this media alarm makes sense. This would make sense if 24 hour news was a new thing and we were just now realizing they had political biases, but this is 2024. This is how things stand. Moving on.

Of course, it is. CNN is biased. Fox is biased. What's odd is acting like everyone doesn't know that. The claim (or quiet implication) that it's some conspiracy to get Harris the election is strange. It's simply left leaning outlets being left leaning.

That tells me these folks are feeling desperate and clutching for straws. And what are they trying to do? They are trying Trump elected. See? Mystery solved.

Okay. Again, if you didn't already know they had a bias, I guess it would be interesting. There are charts online, and have been for years, that indicate political bias within networks. It's not new information. Maybe it's sad that conservatives have to rely on one or two outlets like Fox for news that is biased toward their politics, but that's about it.

You might disagree with this chart to some extent, but it shows the ones you mention as either left or left of center.

No. I think Putin wanted Trump to leave NATO, hitting a death blow to the organization, allowing him to sail right in.
When Trump lost (overwhelmingly, in a fair and just election) he knew NATO would stay strong. He wanted to seize Ukraine before they joined NATO. He wanted to create oil and food shortages throughout Europe and trigger inflation to create chaos.
Trump is not the only candidate he wanted to install. His hackers work on several countries.
UK had Boris Johnson and Brexit--and had the good sense to dump him (similar to our 2020 election.)

I’m not saying Levin’s audience is small. It’s not. But relative to the mainstream news media, it’s quite a bit smaller.

More generally, I’ve long been suspicious of purported radio show ratings. They’re hard to measure in the first place, and daytime AM talk is only available to a pretty narrow audience. 7M listeners per week would put it on par with ABC World News Tonight, which strikes me as… unlikely.

Yeah, that’s what they say. But, according to the same source, Coast to Coast AM is getting 11 million a week. I have a soft spot in my heart for that show, but there’s no way they’re putting up those kind of numbers.

Ah, yes, the "why is everyone picking on Trump?" excuses. The answer isn't to invent more conspiracy theories. The best answer would be for the republicans to find a candidate who is not drifting into cognitive decline and increasingly weird outbursts. If not that, it would be for Trump's handlers to get him under control to the point that he'll follow the teleprompter and avoid scaring/repelling more American voters.

Of course. Or maybe Italian space satellites. Or letting military personnel vote absentee. Or secret ballot-switching. All of which republicans have cited as the reason for Trump losing. Something like that.

Interestingly, many republican politicians have started believing their own stories and are trying to avoid coverage by mainstream American news outlets. This seems like a recipe for disaster, as they will be playing exclusively to the extreme right, and conceding everything else to the democrats.
