the church is the Truth? No, Jesus said HE was the Truth.he's open mine too, to the truth that His Church is what is true and I too pray that the HS does the same for everyone else.
See how this works? We can all make that claim.
Nice false dichotomy there.the church is the Truth? No, Jesus said HE was the Truth.
Yep... and it would behoove you to try to me, I'm wrong as it would behove me to tell you, you're are wrong, especially when we are both "Spirit led."Though your view of His church and my view are drastically different.
Sure it's only the enemy who wants to do away with Mary but not everyone is under his influence. They are all acting under his influence.
That the apostles successors... which is his Church is who teaches us, we do not teach ourselves. What is this suppose to be saying? The Apostles had the power of the Holy Spirit to open their mouths and God speak through Them. They are the ones who penned the Gospels. What they penned is what they taught and fed. This is why we need Gods word for when it is read or preached it is the Power of salvation.
it is a false nothing Bene. Jesus Himself said HE was the way the Truth and the Life. Sorry...Yes, we are the bride...ALL of us..not just the catholic denomination. That has nothing to do with Jesus being the Truth.Nice false dichotomy there.
The Church is his bride which makes her true too.
....
No man but you, right?Which is why there is a bible, which teaches us all truth.
No man is qualified.

Is the Holy Spirit an inanimate object? No. He is our teacher. No man but you, right?
Is the Bible going to teach you by itself... come on now, it's a inanimate object.
Would I dare think my kid doesn't need his math teacher, that his text book will do him just fine?
God teached us His word.9 Does he who implanted the ear not hear?
Does he who formed the eye not see?
10 Does he who disciplines nations not punish?
Does he who teaches man lack knowledge? 11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man;
he knows that they are futile.
Jesus still builds His church today and that is His people the bride. Not a name but a people. Those called by His name. Jesus did not come to save a church but to save sinners.. Those whom He saves He adds to His body. It's a false dichotomy... it's the fallacy of either/or thinking.
Either Jesus is true or his Church is true.
You have created this false dilemma, where one has to choose beween the two... but it's a bogus choice.
Jesus Christ is truth, and the Church is his, it was built by him with his own hands, so it is also truth.
Like I said, no false dichotomy.Jesus still builds His church today and that is His people the bride. Not a name but a people. Those called by His name. Jesus did not come to save a church but to save sinners.. Those whom He saves He adds to His body.
It is His Holy Spirit that teaches us the truth. Jesus did not come to give us a church. Jesus came to save those whom are lost. And in being saved God adds them to His body. The church, The bride. For God saves individual people. We are to be one with Christ through the Holy Spirit that God places in us as His deposit on His people. Jesus came to fulfill the Old covenant and pour out His blood for a new convenant. And that those who come to Him will be saved. Part of His body. We do not see scripture tell us that Jesus came to build a church. But to save those whom are lost. We see in scripture that it is the Holy Spirit and the written word of God that is our teacher.Like I said, no false dichotomy.
this isn't the fallacy of either/or thinking. That it's either the mystical body that his his Church or it's the divine visible institution God established in order to teach us and administer to us the sacraments that impart sanctifying grace.
IAA, wrap your mind around the idea that it's BOTH.
It's His Church that teaches us the truth and it's His Church that incorporates us in his body and sanctifies us in His body which makes up His church.
