I'm not anticipating anything in my lifetime. The fracture took nearly a thousand years to get to where it is now. People are stubborn. Faith in Christ and humility will go a long way to fixing it though.I'll sit back with a cold drink in my recliner and wait.

Good idea, when do we start?
What did I say in the St. Gertrude thread?and in ref. to the other thread in here about Gertrude...you made it clear. If that is how you think neat...but...I disagree!
Remember, the RCC and the EO began the denominations and the splintering. We just followed the logical path.
Not the same logic at all. Your many splintering comes from using your sole rule of faith being the Bible only. Our one schism came in disagreement using ours.
hmmmm one split vs. countless splits ... ?
actually Christ is the head of His Body.
His point is that just as Christ, a mystical union of God and man, sanctified the flesh, Christ also sanctifies His Church which is simultaneously human and Divine.
Orthodox are united in doctrine and dogma. On these matters we can speak for one another because we are of one accord
Just as Christ is sinless, even though He is man, so also His Church even though she be made up of men, is Divine and infallible.
Because in matters of Christian doctrine and dogma, it [might] leads to heresy
Not my opinion, it is the belief of the Church.
You are free to disagree with her belief, but it is not opinion.
