What are everyone's favorite games based on the world's most iconic game character?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Tough one for me since I'm 35 and played a TON of games. Mario I always enjoy. Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG, Mario Party, Wario Ware...etc. I mean Mario is the most recognizable character of course. Sonic use to be like in second place, but he died off long ago when the games went down hill. Same with Mega Man.
There are many other good games I could choose from out of Mario. I loved the Mass Effect world. The Borderlands world. The Thief world was always interesting to me. Half Life. Duke Nukem. Red Dead Redemption. Portal. I could go on and on.
Now.... if I had to pick based on one I would feel safe as a christian in. Minecraft. I mean theres no one else in that world with any real intelligence so your relatively safe. Just build a house and you mostly set. And with not to much to do it leaves you plenty of time for focusing on God. Granted with no one else existing of intelligence it does mean no friends, no pastors preaching, no prayer warriors...etc.

Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros 3 for classics.
I like most Mario main games although I do wish there was often more character variety. That's why I've been fond of Super Mario 3D World lately because I get to play as Peach (my favorite character) and Rosalina.

Mine is Banjo Kazooie for the Nintendo 64. I played it when I was kid, but its still my favorite.

I love New super mario on wii,and paper mario for 3 ds,but not the new one.Its too hard to play and is frustrating to me
