Marilyn Manson / Nirvana ??

Nirvana is one of the most overrated groups ever. The best thing that ever happened to Nirvana was Cobain dying. It shot their ratings up super high after he died. I'd hope that Kurt would have know when to stop, had he still been alive... I understand what it did for music, but they're blown out of proportion and they're just not that great.

As for Manson, yes, he's overrated and loved by all the kiddies because of his image and what they see as a whole rebellion thing, but lyrically and musically the guy is awesome! I'm hoping to see him at this years Mayhem Fest.

Not a huge Manson fan. The only songs that I think are good ... are his covers. He did a great cover of Tainted Love & Sweet Dreams.

I use to love Nirvana back in the day ... but I think I grew out of that phase how I miss my younger years.

I have seen this man rip a Bible up while screaming we will not live under the fascism lie of Christianity any longer and such blasphemies such as I hate Christ and things like this. I have seen interviews with Antwon Levay. The leader of the satanic church who says that he personaly ordained Marilyn. with albums such as Antichrist superstar how can there even be middle ground here. Becareful. Music was Lucifers job so it makes perfect scence that he would use his talent to lure so many to his lie.

I liked them both when I was young, but I don't really care for them all that much anymore. They're far from bad and I enjoy listening to them, they're just not on my favorites list.

Haven't really listened to a lot of Manson's stuff, I like "The Beautiful people" though.
I like Nirvana, but I agree that they are overrated, I prefer Bush.

Manson's new album is alright. Not as good as I was hoping, but it does have some interesting new sounds for him.

Nirvana is great. As for Manson, I was never a fan. I liked most of his cover songs, and Portrait and SLC were ok, but gah... I cant stand his voice or lyrics... especially in his last few albums

Marilyn Manson has talent, but his music is absolutely dreadful. Never cared for him. He's not quite the iconoclast that he thinks he is.

I used to be a huge fan of Nirvana, but not so much anymore. Always like Kurt Cobain..a very honest and sincere musician.

In reference to liking Nirvana...I've enclosed a site reference below...hopefully you can click & access it & link you should read...that is if you genuinally love the Lord...also Curt Corbain is obviouslly lost forever, as well as, those (fans) whom folowed his lord (satan) in also commiting suicides after he commited it but I would genuinally pray for millions influenced by the evil one through his servants & for the surviving members incl family...especially his daughter; that is those really for Jesus I encourage you to...Love in Christ. P.S. Since a specific link is not able to be pasted when you go to the site search regards to music & then specifically Curt Corbain. I never knew how much he blasphemed God & how deep he was into satan worship. Since I love the Lord, I wont embrace his known enemies (i use to listen) & its too late to pray for him (many so called saints should have been praying for the unsaved influenced by him rather than embracing satanic inspired people...how sad), Well is below & i hope this blesses someone & most of all gives God glory:

Thanks...nice quote by C.S. Lewis (i collect quotes)...but if its in reference to the Nirvana reply/comment...sorry it does not apply. First, is this not a Christian Forum (thus were're to assume we are all Believers) & 2nd: stating truth in love (i.e. Curt COrbain being a documented satanist whom led others to suicide, blashphermer of God & admonishing us to not admire satans servant but instead pray for lost & for tha matter church (this 'debate is perfect example...what is thier to debate about...facts?) is not Christian Division no more I think when Paul & other Apostles warned & admonished evil behavior within church. If you can listen to & love a group whom aat least main lead singer admitted satanism, blashphemed God, killed self & led other youth to do so after his death...then when you see the Lord let Him ask why?
