Seriously, they're idiots. And I love so many people here, and I don't mean in general, but with weed, they're damn idiots. They have no clue. They feed into anti weed propaganda and that's it. It's pathetic. I'm a conservative, but actually, this convo makes me realize why people call us clueless idiots.
Would it make you feel warm inside knowing that I actually want marijuana to be legal, both medically and recreationally?
See, the biggest hurdle to the pro-marijuana side isn't the "pseudo," anti-weed science as you and your little friend like to reject, but of people like
you. People who look at legitimate third-party studies, legit statistics, who also don't have a personal horse in the race, and instead of looking at the methodology used to conduct said studies, how the conclusion was based off of, looking at other studies and references wherever they may be that they use to either concur or dispel the original findings (Which happens all too regularly in the multiple facets of the scientific community), it seems the both of you are just fine with the faulty premise of anecdotal evidence vs. quantifiable and qualified resources. Or just resorting to the 2nd grade tactic of "you're dumb."
Again, if you want me to go off of just "anecdotal" evidence, I've never been in an automobile where the driver was using an illicit drug, but I have been in a vehicle where the driver was quite out of it due to their drinking. I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said I was in an automobile with such an individual at least 10 times, and of those instances, I've seen the driver drive a bit too recklessly, once, and I've been a small fender bender, once.
So, my personal experience should trump, supersede the national average and other statistics involving drunk drivers? Because my experience is quite flattering of drunk drivers. 80% of the time we were quite safe, only 10% where there was an actual collision, and even then, it wasn't that serious. Screw the science on the effects of alcohol. Interfering with motor function skills, central nervous system. Ta loca!
I'll just leave this little gem for the both of you, so you can both stick it in your pipe and smoke it. I am very libertarian when it comes to all drugs. However, when it comes to being behind the wheel, whether it be alcohol, weed, cocaine, shrooms, and even legal prescription pills that have altering effects, with the punishment handed down, I am very, very conservative.
You really want to compare a he said, she said vs. quantifiable sources? Really?
Well, you sure alluded to it.
In NL (EU) many smoke weed, but the substance that causes accidents is alcohol.
Unless you now want to shimmy in "most."
