I'm not familiar with the germ theory.
What, that bacteria and virus's cause us to get sick? Of course.
Wrong word.
1 Corinthians 1:27a But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise;
Why? The bacteria and viruses were created. Then you must also accept abiogenesis because the germs and hosts had to come from somewhere, and since it is a scientific theory it must include abiogenesis, right?
You thought wrong.I'll accept your correction, it doesn't answer the question though, I thought confounding people was supposed to be Satan's schtick.

Where did the virus and bacteria come from then.... thin air?So you don't accept the germ theory of disease?
God has given us enough information to figure it out. It is only those who feel or think that they are so smart that God's way is to simple and obvious or what ever and will not take the Bible literally. They are far to educated and intelligent to come to the truth of the gospel like a child does to what their parents teach them. Equals.... arrogance.

I have been looking at the Germ Theory since you mentioned it. Looks like I'll have to do some more reading to see where it says these bacterium come from. So far it is just stating that they are the cause of disease, live in the bodies of other organisms and may be transferred by various methods.Exactly. So you have to accept abiogenesis as part of the scientific theory of germ disease, right?
Since you already said that you accept germ theory, then you also accept abiogenesis.
How do you take the creation itself? Figuratively?
Arrogance is when you think your ignorance trumps knowledge.

Nothing yet on any statement or suggestion that they miraculously appear out of thin air. Just that they exist, in the air, the earth, other hosts and such.....
Still, nothing about abiogenesis. Sorry, not swallowing this as proof of "life arising out of non living matter".
Arrogance:
1
: exaggerating or disposed to exaggerate one's own worth or importance often by an overbearing manner <an arrogant official>
2
: showing an offensive attitude of superiority
The Genesis account of creation is written simply as truth and is not a parable, not an analogy or figurative explanation..... Solid simple truth.
Evolution is no different. Evolution only states how life changed once it was here. So why is it that creationists such as yourself keep insisting that abiogenesis is a part of the theory of evolution? We keep hearing that life had to come from somewhere in order for it to evolve, so abiogenesis has to be a part of the theory of evolution. So why doesn't the same apply to the germ theory of disease? The bacteria had to come from somewhere. The bacteria had to come from somewhere. So why isn't abiogenesis as much a part of the germ theory of disease as it is in evolution, as viewed by creationists?
Bacteria don't have to come out of thin air to cause disease. They have been here since the fall, like every other living "kind".The real question is why you aren't arguing that we have to prove abiogenesis in order to conclude that bacteria cause infections.
That's what I answered....... literally. That's not what I asked. How do you interpret the Creation itself? Figuratively?
