Iryna's Autopsy Released

Three sharp-force injuries were documented in the autopsy.

The fatal neck wound, located just right of the midline above the collarbone, penetrated downward from right to left. The track passed through neck tissue, damaged the thyroid gland and severed the carotid artery before penetrating into the left chest cavity.

A second, superficial stab wound to the upper right chest injured only soft tissue.

A third wound below the left kneecap penetrated approximately 1.5 inches into soft tissue and impacted the bone.

The autopsy revealed that Iryna Zarutska's fatal neck wound caused her death in an August stabbing on Charlotte's LYNX Blue Line.

The Bible teaches that, "the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground." And I can hear Iryna's blood crying unto God... "Why did that man do that to me? Why didn't anyone help me? Why did the system let him go free?"

A woman dies by brute force... Nobody on the bus helps her... In the Democratic mayor's response she said in her statement released by WSOC-TV on August 26, four days after the stabbing, Lyles said Brown Jr. Long struggled with mental health issues and looked to have “suffered a crisis,” without noting the suspect’s criminal history including murder charges (Charlotte mayor faces criticism over comments on Ukrainian refugee's fatal stabbing).

Er, people get murdered in America all the time? I get that she is a young photogenic white woman but she’s one of many women killed in America every day (probably).

Sad for the people who loved her.
