Males: Do You Only Like Ladies of Your Own Race?

I'm black (mixture of many races)-NOT African American, and I must say that I disagree with you guys about the children of black/white unions being ostracized by both races. Although I'm sure that it was like that in the past, and in some places it still is. But I've lived in the deep south all my life, and I've NEVER seen them have identity crisises-but then again, I also believe that your identity comes from who you are in Christ and NOT the color of your skin!!!-nor have I EVER seen them ostracized on the basis of their heritage. What I've seen in my life just doesn't support that. The "mullato" children I've seen in my lifetime have always been treated VERY WELL by both sides. The black side especially, because of a little thing we have in our race, dating back to slave times, called colorism- which roughly means the heirarchy of beauty based on the lightness of skin.

Agreed, I don't buy it either. I mean if it was said 40 years ago, then a point could be made, but today, it is not an issue for those that do not make it an issue.

THEN I went into further detail of what my experiences have been. Just to clarify, I at NO time made the assertion that you seem to have concluded...Oh well *SIGH*... sorry if you found what I wrote confusing.

I'd prefer my own race, because I've been accustomed like that all the time, but who knows...God might provide me a future wife of a completely different race. who knows what God has in store. There are beautiful women from ALL races, and I've experienced some different cultures here that have shown the beauty of their people (especially the women)

Beggars can't be choosers -- I mean, yes, I like ladies of all races and ethnicities though there are definitely certain features that tend to accompany certain races that I am not so particular about so I guess that isn't completely true. Anyways, whoever mentioned Asian girls and Italian females, you speak truth brother.

maybe it's me growing up in iowa or maybe i'm just a prick, but i find white girls more attractive. but the more i think about it, it might be due to the sample of other women from other cultures that's lacking. japanese girls are really pretty (yes, there is a difference between korean, japanese, & chinese people).

What? Of course not, there're only 9 or so races in this world. Asian, African, Mexican, English, Canadian, Australian, American, Irish, and European.
