Making a move question.

If you see someone that you want to talk to do you make a move or do you put it in God's hands to make it for you? Reason I ask is today I went to get a haircut and ended up running into a very pretty girl there. We were both looking at each other via the mirror so I felt I should maybe make a move. I didn't lol but I am just curious as to what you all think. When I say move I just simply mean introduce myself. I don't make a smooth move or anything lol

I would think you don't need a direct command from God to say hello to someone and introduce yourself. At the point of considering a serious relationship, sure. But you're probably on safe ground being a generally friendly and sociable person.

Yeah, I mean consider God put her in your eye sight maybe . Introducing yourself or saying Hi does not need a voice from Heaven so to speak.

Yeah I thought that's what it read too . God made enough of a move by placing you two in the same place at the same time. Next time this happens make a move .

If this was the lady cutting your hair, she was probably just being friendly. Getting your haircut is kind of an awkward experience (at least for me) and conversation eases that. Certain people have chemistry with others and some they don't, that doesn't really mean anything other than those two people will get along easier and conversations will flow better.

She just might be a friendly person, check to see if she acts similar to other customers.

I think if you see someone you'd like to talk to, you just need to talk to them. Do you expect God to tell you what to do before you choose anything for yourself? Do you expect him to pick out your clothes in the morning and tell you were to go and what to do for the day? This situation is really no different than any of those except that for most people the decision to go over and say hello is more difficult to make. Waiting for a sign from God to tell you to talk to the person would likely mean you're not going to talk to a lot of people. Now if something starts to develop with the girl, and it starts to become a serious relationship, that's when I'd start asking God for help with the situation. Before that perhaps the conversation with God might be asking for enough courage to go over to introduce myself.
