My girlfriend just got her brows dyed to better match her hair she colored. Part of getting herself all ready for Easter. Now sure she looks fantastic & sure she can do whatever she pleases with herself. I'll still love her if she shaved off her brows & her head. Of course I hope she never does that. I wish that girls wouldn't do that sort of thing so much. Her natural hair & brows were so her. Just perfect IMO.

@Go Braves That's very sweet that you're so supportive of her and wanting her to feel confident. I'm sure she's glad to know that you love her regardless. Sometimes, it's nice to be reminded of that.

I don't know that girls dye their brows a lot but when they dye their hair a dramatically different colour some people prefer to tint them to match. The mismatched brow colour thing isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I bleached my brows when I went blonde- it looked a bit too silly to have blonde hair and black brows. I think girls just want to coordinate.. Haha

I watch a lot of youtubers and makeup tutorials and more than once I've noticed them call something on their face the "cupid bow" but it's usually while they're putting on foundation or something so I never really understand where they mean... Is this a new word for the T-zone or is another part of the face? Just curious.

I used to bleach mine when I had blond hair. I went back to my natural brunet hair several years ago, but will sometimes still lighten my eyebrows since they are black and slightly darker than my hair color which can look weird.

Oh, I already know some of the lengths! My girl is naturally beautiful but she does all sorts of stuff anyways, mainly on account of how she sees it as being part of her taking care of herself. That's fine except some of it is pretty dang painful. She goes to this place where they pour sugar on her legs & under her arms, put paper on the sugar so it sticks, then they rip all the hair out. She goes to another place where they take dental floss or something that looks like it & yank eyebrow hair out with it. She has these hair extensions that are like glued to her head. So her natural hair on her body is yanked out, but she adds on fake hair. Whatever makes her happy.

All I do, besides showering & shaving my face, is clip my toenails when they start digging into my shoes.

i was attending a bible study with some holiness brothers and sisters last night and the topic of makeup came up. i could end the story there just by saying that. but nevertheless it went on and someone mentioned a verse in 2 kings 9:30 where the bible says that before jezebel died she painted her face and fixed her hair. lol

Glossy has a place but for the most part is ehh.

Matte on the other hand looks nicer in my opinion but those examples look like an absolute matte.

In my limited understanding of lip stick lol, there's a middle ground that seems more common.

Maybe it's just the colours. Not really a fan of such bold colours because it makes a particular area a focal point which is rarely a positive.

True I agree there is a total in between. And you're right there is an in between but I actually forgot about it and really I'm not sure how you would look it up. I guess just under lipstick and pick one thats not really gloss nor matte.

Matte for me is like crayon though and makes my lips stick together, lol.
