"...what is he thinking, he knows I can't get a million dollars. That's physically impossible for me." John thought. "...only one thing to do. Hang tight, guys, I'm coming."
John ran out of the door. He whipped out his phone, and dialed the number listed on the message.
"Where's my friends?" John asked.
"My, my, calm as ever. You do realize I am holding your very friends captive, right?"
"One, yeah, how would I not know? Two, you didn't answer my question."
"They're safe. Do you have the money?"
"...yeah." Forgive me, Lord. "Where are you?"
"Clocktower. Meet me there in 15 minutes." *click*
"Don't worry, guys, if he's kidnapping you it means he wants me. Not the money, not you. If he wants me, he can have me. Of course..." John grinned while fastening his glove. "...that means he'll also receive something else. Pain." Dragging out a motorcycle from behind the complex, John sped off. "I'm not worried this time. He took Alyssa, Zolo, AND Nin. Those three, alone, are insane. Together, they're invincible. If he tries to pull something, they won't let him."
John began to drive, until a sharp pang forced him to stop his bike. "...pain. I sense pain... I don't think it's the group, though... darn it. I have to take care of this first. Then... no. I need to go now." John reved his bike, speeding off in the opposite direction. "It's not Alyssa or the others... that can mean two things. And Angelic's not it. Hang on, Alexis, I'm coming... hang tight, Alyssa. If only you could hear my thoughts... Be strong..."
