alyss looked up @ e.b. & x w/ her pitaful sorrowful blood covered face.

X sheathed his sword, and turned around, facing EB. EB looked at him with disgust. "Idiot. I should be immortal. I SHOULD BE IMMORTAL!!!" EB screamed in anger, then lunged at X, trying to stab him. X dodged. EB, incredibly weakened, slammed into the wall, and fell.

"You're done. That sword that I used doesn't attack the physical. It attacks you. Your real self." X turned around, picked up Alyssa carefully, and began to walk out.

"So, you're not going to kill me?" EB smiled, but still clutched his side from the incredible pain.

"No, you can live with that pain. I don't even want to kill you. The pain you'll suffer is worse than death." X walked out.

Alyssa passed out from the pain from her wounds. X tried to move as fast as possible without hurting her, running, resting on a hope that a portal to the real world would be found where he came in. He bolted out of the building, and, with Alyssa in his arms, found the doorway he opened, and went through it.

while alyssa was passed out x looked 4 the portal.he found it & jumped out gentley laying alyssa on the ground,not nowing(knowing) what 2 do.alyssa was dting slowly from the wounds e.b. freshly made on her.

X thought, a bit. He started trying to wipe off some of the blood, but it was too much. He decided just to leave it up to God, so he began praying. The wounds began to heal, slowly, but they were healing. X picked her up, put her on her bed, and began to leave. Until he passed out as well, on the carpet.

a few hours had past & alyssa was still unconcious.she slightly started 2 wake up.

Alyssa sat up, then got up and off the bed. She looked at a mirror, and, while her hair was a mess, her wounds were mostly gone, except for a few still healing. X continued to sleep, tired from the fight. "Oh, come on, that's my rug!" Alyssa looked at the rug, a little blood stained, but not horribly bad. She walked away, leaving X to sleep.

she walked in2 the kitchen sort of weak & got a glass of water.she was still in horror from what had happened.she went & sat down on the couch in the living room.

X woke up. "Whoa... what happened?" He looked at his wounds, which were gone, except for the shoulder wound from earlier, which was still healing. He stood up.

"Well, time to finish what I started." X picked up his sword and began to walk out, when he noticed Alyssa in the living room.

"Hmmm... I can't just leave her, she's traumatized by what happened..." X sat there, confused on what to do.

alyssa glanced up and saw x starting to walk out
no! she thought desperately, please don't leave!

X sat there, still wondering whether to leave, or stay. He eventually decided to stay. He went over the the couch, and sat down. He looked downward, sad at what happened. He was reminded of things that happened in the past, past hurts, memories.

"...I don't really know how to put this, but I'm sorry. Sorry I wasn't there, that I didn't help. That I didn't get there fast enough. That he harmed you because of my failures. I screwed up. I'm sorry." He glanced at her. She was still horrified at what happened, trembling, trying to hold back tears but wasn't doing too well. He gave her a hug, and stayed there as she cried, and cried... and cried.

"its ok.....it WASNT yur fualt...its happened scince i was 8.i just want it 2 stop.thats all!"alyssa ran in2 a room & slamed the door,layed on her bed,buried her head in2 her pillows & cried away.

"...I don't blame you. I don't blame you one bit."

X got up, and wrote a note.

Alyssa,

I'm going after Naraku. Whether you want to come or not is up to you. Personally, I'd prefer if you stayed here and relaxed a bit. I'm praying that everything'll go alright, and I'm especially praying for you, Ryou, and Alexis. See ya later.

X walked out of the house. Ryou came up, kind of shy and embarrassed, but asked if everything was alright. After talking for a bit, X went on, and Ryou went to talk with Alyssa.

alyssa was still in her room crying.she took a breath.she heared the door open & tried 2 stop crying."hey alyssa."ryou said gently.she gasped,"ryou!yur ok!"she got up & gave him a big hug & he huged bk.alexis the same.she had no idea that x had left a note @ the time.alyssa started 2 think again & cried."whats wrong alyssa?"alexis asked."i-its a long story alexis...."she buryed her head in her pillow again & cried her heart out.

X jumped down the doorway again, back into the realm of darkness. this time, several dark minions began to attack him. X cautiously dodged and sliced the creatures, one by one, until they were all dead. Their bodies sank into the soil and disappeared from view. X moved on towards the building. Upon reaching it, he smiled.

"Time to party."

alexis looked @ alyssa & said,"u need 2 simmer down.can u?2 @ least tell us what happened?"ryou added,"yeah,please?4 us?"

X walked in. He immediately heard groaning come from down the hall, obviously from the permanently wounded EB. X saw him for a second, and he looked horrible now.

X walked up the stairs. He began opening doors one by one, trying to find Naraku.

he finally found him in 1 room sitting & laughing evily nowing that x had walked in.

"Well, kid, you done laughing so I can kick your rear end?" X unsheathed his sword. "You may be a kid, but I know what you can do, and I refuse to hold back because of that."

Naraku just continued to laugh. "Don't you see? You've lost!" At the sound of those words, the floor X was on gave out, and he fell through.

he fell in2 a portal that seemed 2 never end.alyssa was walking through the house trying 2 calm her nerves.she found jhonnys note & read it."oh no....."she held bk the tears.they both walked in."what?"alexis asked.she handed them the note as they read it.alyssa grabed her benie put it on along w/ her hoodie & ran 2 the portal.she didnt want any1 seening her in the state she was in.alexis & ryou ran behind,trying 2 catch up.thry finally did."i....i gotta do this on my own guys."she put on her "hobo" gloves & put her thumbs through the holes she made in hoodie."im sry....."she gave them each a hug."if i dont come bk,x will tell u why.if we dont come bk dont look 4ward 2 seeing us again.ok?"she held bk the tears."ok...."alexis said giving her another hug.ryou did the same."wish me luck."she jumped in.
