I actually don't sing well, but I figure that I inspire others to sing by showing them that you can sing in church even if you sound like an alley cat. I do try my very best, and I figure The Lord knows I'm trying, and is therefore not offended at my folly. An off-key voice is one of those human imperfections that is not offensive to God, in my opinion.

Anyway, Catholics, and all present company, SING LOUDER!!!!!!!! At the very least, you'll please God even MORE by drowning out people such as myself. LOL!!!!!

I went to Saturday Vigil Mass, and there was no choir this week! We had a lady playing piano, but none to lead in song.

I am a parrot, and I can sing OK as long as my ears have a guide. I was ALL OVER THE PLACE last night, especially during the opening hymn! Funny!

We didn't sing the Gloria or the Holy, holy, holy. We said it instead.

Today, we had a choir and I did much better!

Gosh, you don't realize how tone-deaf you are unless the ... what do you call it ... cantor ... or singers are absent.

I do appreciate that you awknowledge us as Christians. There are a huge number of non-Catholics that say we're not Christians, but a Pagan Cult--or even worse Occultists, placing us on the same level as Satanists! We've become everyone's favorite target, and it get's old, so much so that being called such names, such as a "Facist" (by Ron Howard) no longer bothers me. (Actually, Ron Howard called ALL OF US, Christians, Facists in a recent TV interview).
