  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There is supposed to be a storm here today and for the next two days :cry: :cry:  We live in a mobilehome and any high wind gusts or :eek: tornadoes would destroy our home. 

Please pray that the storm will not be severe, and that the trees that are over our house and the neighbor's house will not fall (they are 3 large eucalyptus trees, not well rooted, and are in an eroding hillside directly across the street. :cry: )

Lord I thank You for Susan and her family. You love each of them so much.

We thank You God that You are in control. We know God that in You there is nothing to fear. I ask God that as Susan draws closer to You that Your presence overwhelms her and that her fears are calmed.

You promise to protect your children God and we thank You for that.
