I do not think there are that many people that study biology in college. You may have good reason to hold a liberal arts education in low self esteem. It is common at the liberal college here to see beer cans stacked up to the telephone wires after a night of wild parties. I remember a TV snow where they joked about pretending to be a college student to go to the wild parties without ever attending any classes.

I hired a student nurse once to help me get my house cleaned up and I ended up having to let her go because she was aways hung over or high on drugs that she claimed she needed to get her school work done. Far to often they end up with a one way ticket to the lake of fire.
