Madden 2005 or ESPN 2k5

which one are you playing more of? and which one are playing on buying (if you still haven't bought one of theses titles)?

and i wanna hear both from Madden Fans and Segas Fans on this. But myself personally when i rented ESPN 2k5 for my playstation 2 a few weeks ago at hollywood video i loved the game the graphics were crisp and nice the whole prestation of ESPN 2k5 was solid

plus ESPN 2k5 is only $20 this year so i might pick this one up real soon!

Yea, Lol.. Madden is all soo Over-stated! Everyone talks about it but it seems to be the same every year. Maybe a few different changes (i.e Graphics).

i agree with you guys. i haven't played the new Madden yet so i don't know how it is. But every year almost all the reviews online and in magazines talks about how Madden is so great and good giving Madden 5 out of 5 stars the one football game you must own etc... its like they don't even give ESPN football games a try or even honor it.

But this year i have seen a few magazines and website reviews on ESPN 2k5 that though ESPN was better and a great contender more so then this years Madden game (which is a shock but a good shock in a way)

but i'm not a sega fan boy or a madden fan boy. i just want a good football game to play and enjoy!

its not just new players and new and better graphics Dr. Phil (who i can't stand by the way)

its new features...new controller tricks on offense and defense etc

an honest question. If this game is soooooo great, then why is espn only charging $20 for it???????????

sure, im no video games expert , but i do know this: whenever a brand new game comes out and it costs only half the price of its competitors, that almost always means it sucks. period.

Because ESPN 2k5 (this years game anyways) wanted to keep up with the Madden series and have a chance! so thats why they dropped the price down for there brand new release to only $20 Dollars

Well I'm not buying either,, here's why, I go every other year and last year I bought Madden 04 and have done a franchise. I play all the games, and have gone past all of the NFL players, everyone, cept maybe a few are fake people, and I'm a create a player type person, I like taking my football team create their jerseys and then I enjoyed the Owner mode in Madden. I've won the superbowl several times, the only reason to buy a new football game is players, and obviously that not why I buy them. The other reason is great new features, which are uncommon, although last year was a big change for EA and Sega. So next year when the games come out, then ill start from scratch and lose my successful franchise.

Yea, I see your Point..There is a point with that..Whats the point of playing the game once you beat it soo fast? Its like you bought it for no reason! Just go to block-busters and rent it... Madden and Sega know the dealio...but they also know thet are ripping people off!!!

I'm a GCN user, so Madden is my only choice. But I would most certainly pick up ESPN if I was a PS2 or Xbox gamer.

xbox also dropped down there price to $150.99


so both systems are somewhat cheap to buy now
