Yep, & a few clear ones.

I never got into the practice of praying the Rosary, I usually have it hanging on my rear-view mirror in my car. I really enjoy the looks I get from my 'evangelical' friends when they see it. :D

I think the reason we don't see to much of Lutherans praying the rosary is because we might look too Roman Catholic and would have yet one more thing with which we need to defend.

Thanks!
It looks nice. Those blue beads remind me of heaven and the endless sea of mercy, and of the horizon were heaven and earth come together. Just as it is in God's Kingdom, it's already here, but we cannot see and say exactly were.

no problem...sorry it took me so long to get it to you...the one in the picture is one I made this morning to replace mine...I was at waffle house the other day after work...a friend of mine works there and I was showing her my rosary...all of the other rosaries I have gotten tend to break after fairly light use...so I had strung mine together with 40 lbs test Kevlar fishing line...I was bragging about how strong it was and SNAP beads went EVERYWHERE...they will be sweeping up beads for months there...the one I made this morning is strung with 80 lb test Spider Wire fishing line braided kevlar and coated in teflon...I should be able to tow my truck with this one should the need arise...

I just thought of something...how symbolic is it to make these with fishing line?...Peter was a fisherman...so were several other disiples...then there is the whole "Fishers of Men" thing...huh...never would've thought...

now on to KagomeShuko's CD's...

Someone has already mentioned it, but I'll say it again. You can make them yourself if you like.

How different are they from Roman Catholic or Orthodox Rosary/Prayer Ropes? Not different at all. Its not like they are exclusive to any denomination.

Its their purpose that counts, not really where they come from or who made them. At least I think so.

I've got your rosary today, thanks. There is quite a lot of symbols in it. I thought e.g. that there are 10 smaller blue beads like 10 commandments, three longer beads like faith, hope, love, three white-black beads like Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It feels good when I keep it in my hand. And those little roses between bigger beads are very beautiful.

Did you have some special prayers or meanings in your minds when you chose colours, shape, amount of beads. Is there some prayers or bible passages etc. included? Or is it so that the user is the one who gives the meanings there?

Bless you.
